“Has it ever struck you that life is all memory, except for the one present moment that goes by you so quick you hardly catch it going?”― Tennessee Williams..
@@tony-lx6cz Yes, but what is thinking ? His quote / comment is the conclusion to that question. The recording of experience is basically memory. We all "time" travel alot... 🤣
Pretty good movie. Excellent up load. Perfect audio and video. A rare combination on RU-vid. I had seen this movie before, but couldn't remember what happened. A benefit of a lousy memory is that I can watch the same movie twice and enjoy it just as much the second time! All other up loaders take notice, THIS IS HOW IT'S DONE!
And slow. And schmiering. And it goes on and on and on like forever. Why not read a good book, that evening? This is such a waste of time, you have no idea. It hardly can be any more oldfashioned.
Released for TV as "Thrill Seekers", with Casper Van Dien, Catherine Bell, Theresa Saldana, Peter Outerbridge and Catherine Oxenberg. "A reporter, learning of time travelers visiting 20th-century disasters, tries to change the history they know by averting upcoming disasters."
If you like reading time travel stories I just found a series by Mark Hodder. I can't find an actual name for the series other than "A Burton Swinburne Adventure". I have a couple of issues with the writing but the story is excellent.
I know what you mean, AND, I'm still Physically ALIVE , so for me IT'S STILL THE GOOD OLD DAYS! I'm just slower, so I appreciate Existence in this Timeline even more since it's SLOW i get to LOOK AT THINGS LONGER & enjoy them more FULLY!
Same premise as 1992 movie Grand Tour:Disaster in Time(also called Timescape)with Jeff Daniels. He runs a small town bed and breakfast where a mysterious group of "tourists"come to stay.I enjoyed both movies.
Really enjoyed the movie. Edge of my seat all the way through. The premise was good, time travel tourism in the future but our accidental hero and eventual sidekick manage to somehow start an effort to stop the very disasters our sick future tourist are just going along for an up-close and personal seat to watch the kshow’, only to be whisked away to their next viewing pleasure at the last possible moment before the carnage begins. It has some pretty good twist, decent acting chops and a not so subtle background stab at our already consumeristic, sick and twisted taste for the macabre! Enjoy, I sure did!
Many people believe time travel could be achieved but it's not possible for humans, but I like this movie and hope to see more like strange, mysterious fill with suspence... Nice movies 🤗👍
it is a version of another movie I saw called Time Chasers about a man who investigates air crash and then find it was used to take people who will die into the future. Thx John Titor this one of my favourite time travel movies.
I found this movie to be vastly entertaining, I am a time travel movie fan. This did not let me down. Special effects on a relatively short budget were exceptional. the story line was complex.
What a great movie! It’s a good and interesting storyline and made in a simpler purer form without all the special fX people rely upon today. Thank you for the upload.🥰
Never heard of this before. Watched the first 10 minutes. Now I've downloaded it to save for the perfect night. Wow. I love these great B films. No big name actors to gum up the works and still great acting.
I believe in you John. I've lived a horrible life wish I could go back I'm 62 years old and still in misery. I've been beat and left for dead twice poisoned and almost killed many times. All I ever wanted was love. My father was the abuser. He killed many and died a free man. Wish I could have found love and traveled with her. Have you been able to find love?
From IMBD: "Thrill Seekers - The Time Shifters". A reporter and a researcher attempt to track down a tourist from the future who visits the scenes of historic disasters. Initial release: October 17, 1999
This movie has made some very good technological predictions. Those foldable screens were predicted surprisingly accurate. That technology has been around for years now. And another thing - the possibility for those tablets to track one another on a map, something that was unthinkable when the movie was made in 1999, is a common feature on every tablet now. Btw, the tablets themselves were not existent in those days.
Wrong. Tablets existed as touch screen computers with a keyboard that was detachable. They were mostly used as stock reorder platform or insurance agent marketing tools, or something similar.
In 99 there were heaps of new tech already available, but in the 60,s when star trek came out, they foresaw just about every kind of new tech even when half the world didn't even have a TV, and some of that tech is only just being realised 60 years later
Wow!! This movie takes off within 10 minutes and keeps coming and coming on strong till the end. Intelligent, action and a good storyline. I Can't ask for more. Just what I was looking for, and I cared about the characters. Thanks for posting. You're the best!
1985 Hamilton Ontario opened Copps Coliseum named after then Deputy Prime Minister Sheila Copps. 2014 It changed it's name to First Ontario Coliseum after First On Credit Union which has a capacity of 19,000 spectators. I was there for it all, even the small part of the front of the coliseum shot in the movie.
Brilliant Movie, I Love The time Travel Stuff & this one had me gripped to my seat . . , Thanks For making this possible. . . Look too the future. . God Bless
I can't believe I missed this movie when it was originally released... It's better than I expected. Yet, I just love the concept of time travel, even though I do not think it would happen in the way it is described in most stories/movies. As I fully believe in the M-Theory (multi-universes/parallel universes), if anyone goes back in time (that is, to the original "past" of HIS/HER universe), any change made in that "past" will not affect the "future" from which these travelers came. That's because any such change made in the "common past", would automatically create a SEPARATE new universe where all subsequent events would occur as a result of the modification that were made; whereas the "original time-line" in the future from which the travelers emerged would remain unaffected... As such the only impact of a historical event modified would be the creation of a brand new parallel universe (a new "branch" of the "MULTIVERSE") containing a distinct set of future events... if interested, please check out the following link: Universe or Multiverse Documentary | HD 720p
LOL wish we could time travel back to 1/10/2019 - now 1 October 2020 and still in stage 4 lockdown thanks to COVID19. AHH to be able to shut down that meat market in China.........before all this started....
+lynda renaud oh my what a fantastic independent film that is. I've watched it 3 times and every time it gets better !!! I agree, if you ain't seen it it's a must. I have it on my channel in playlist. ✌🏻️
emsie76 ...Yes! it was a surprisingly good movie for an Independent. I have watched so many that were supremely awful...I would be ashamed to put my name to them.
I taped this movie off TV so I can watch anytime but will watch here now 😍 I Love this Movie 😍 😎 Thanks for bringing us This Movie 😍 Thumbs Up for You 😄 Stay Well 💓🐎 🐎
I Just Love Catherine Bell's acting in this Entertaining movie! She's ALSO GR8 as "The Good Witch" on the Hallmark channel, such an Awesome Show with Superior Moral Message & Standards! Hard to find in this day & age. Also in my opinion she's a Definite Hottie with Beautiful Eyes that touch me Deep in my Soul! PEACE OUT!
Thanks for uploading this. Thoroughly enjoyable movie, and, as others have said, Catherine Bell. Good solid cast throughout, with the Time Traveler (Julian Richings) being an outstanding weird-looking guy. Thankfully, the cops weren't idiots, the head of the magazine was good and hard-nosed, and I thought Van Dien did a credible job. Cool scene when Van Dien used the time shifting device for the first time. Thought it was a neat touch that the tech-savvy assistant to the detective was the seed for the time traveling technology. "Grand Tour: Disaster in Time" is another good one along this line.
I just checked out Timescape (1991) as it is otherwise known with Jeff Daniels in the lead and higher ratings than The Time Shifters which I have just enjoyed watching very much. I shall definately be on the lookout for that one, thanks for the recommendation.
You gotta love Catherine Bell. After the ending at JAG where you never know what happens with Mac and Harm having a future that’s uncertain, here it’s clear that this story can enjoy a sequel with Elizabeth and Tom having a super and interesting life together as journalists.Keep ‘em coming CB!
I can see your a romantic,,,,, But really She was as mouthy and argumentative in this as in JAG it - was like watching JAG with replacement Harm...same script writer perhaps... pretty as a picture but ghee annoying ......Harm and Diane would never have worked , I was sad when it ended, hoped her and the Aussie got together again somehow..... This movie , it was a good movie for its time though and it took me a fair while to work out where I knew her from.... anyhow, I hope the last 12 months has been good to you and yours Kathleen.
I'm here and present because . . . well, Time Travel and (yes) Catherine Bell. This is a perfect diversion, such a well done movie, to help us all get through 2020 and COVID-19 Failures, we can almost forget we were so misled by LIES. (I am sorry to have mixed evil with such a good movie.) But, hey' we all know it had to be said.
The concept has a *huge* flaw shared by most in the genre: it tacitly assumes the Earth is Absolute Rest. If you're physically transporting back in time, then what's to say you don't end up in outer space "where the Earth used to be"? In case we forgot: motion is relative! The flip side of that is that "same point at different time"-edness is relative too! (The term for that is genidentity). What counts as the "same point" at a different time? The Earth's rotating, revolving around the sun, the sun around the galaxy core, the galaxy is shooting off in an expanding universe. Any one of those could equally well be used to determine what is "the same place" at a different time.
Rock Brentwood. Who told you that Theory of the earth rotating & revolving around the sun etc? THE EARTH IS FIXED AND SHALL NOT MOVE. I'm sorry, but you were seriously indoctrinated by what the Elites want and limit you to learn/know. It's o.k. to be confused/angry. We have ALL been lied to about EVERYTHING. Believe me I am pissed too.
U said u like time travel movies can u please tell me some good ones to watch? I also love these kind of movies plus paranormal movies! I would really appreciate it, thank u!☺
+Custom Lion if you click on my channel and go to my playlists, there are categorised so you'll find them easily. I've put some of my favourites up. Enjoy. 🙂
if you like time travel movies check out my "fantasy, weird, twilight-zonie style movies" playlist. its got some excellent time paradox films maybe you haven't seen before.
Here are a few of the best time travel films you may not have seen: Predestination, Timecrimes and Looper. The first two will really blow your mind. Two other classics are Final Countdown and The Philadelphia Experiment (the original). Then there is the absolute worst film adaptations of one of the best time travel stories: A Sound of Thunder.
Cool flick! 👍👍 it was unexpected to see Copps Coliseum in this movie that's in my city Hamilton, Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦 it was renamed First Ontario Center now. Tons of shows, and movies are filmed here all the time.
Thank You John Titor. Sir, I really did actually enjoy this "C-plus" low budget "Sci-Fry" flicker. Also I do appreciate you going to the time and effort to post this flicker. Too, too many dweebs & geeks trying to pull apart a simple "popcorn & hotdog" flick. Be gone all the total arm chair "time-janitor's". They take all the simple away from the story line. I do appreciate your posting this flicker John Titor all the way from a little city / town in Thailand about 30-Klicks N.N.W. across the big river from Bangkok. A fun and simple slightly cheesy good time I enjoyed thanks to you John. I salute you and I am not about die (yet).
Fun movie -- lots of suspense and surprising plot twists, and they did it without Dumbledore's time turner! I don't know how I missed it for so long. The acting was good, and the plot moved along quickly. Sci fi often hits futuristic devices right on. The iPad came out the year after this movie, but was the stuff of speculation years before, but what really got me was the watch. Apple didn't release that until 2015, 16 years after the movie was made.
lol yeah, I mean it was a fair enough movie to _while away_ 90 mins, can't complain after the intro sequence that it's not exactly oscar winning material. However, don't need or want to watch it a 2nd time to 'get it'. Twelve Monkeyes I did, this one I don't.
the best storyline I ever seen in my life we definitely need to see more movies like this no more killing or saving it's time we make more good outcomes instead of bad throughout the movie
