"Why God, why?" I whispered, as the weeks ticked by, my reservoir of culture all but tapped out. Then, it appeared. Another Titusville Culture Report, ending my drought with its cleansing downpour of culture. Thankyou FilmCow, thankyou.
Jennifer always leaves leftovers, but the two never seem to dine in. I can only assume that it's heated back up and re-served in any one of Titusville's restaurant to maintain the illusion that Titusville isn't trapped under a giant invisible dome and is slowly running out of food. The dome put there by eagles. Or something.
Can we please get Chris and Jennifer added to the "Notable people" section of Titusville's wikipedia page? More people in the UK have heard of them than anyone else on that list thus I declare them to be of greater international fame. Link to Titusville on wikipedia: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Titusville,_Florida
My understanding is that this series serves to highlight the abandoned state of this town by contrasting the enthusiastic presentation of it and the quite clear emptiness of the whole place.
Chris is probably honestly reviewing these locations as a sponsorship or for fun, but I can't help but attempt to read into the video and find a joke within it. Even when I know it's just going to be a discussion about a restaurant.
I prefer to avoid restaurants in hotels because they're always overpriced. It's a convenient stop for hotel guests, that would prefer not to go out and get food, so they make it more expensive than it needs to be.
God damn food is so cheap in america. $15 for an 8oz steak? Such a joke. I took my gf out for a meal a few months ago. I got an 8oz sirloin. Cost about £16... so like $32?? What I would do for a green card!
In South Africa where I am from. You can get 12oz Steaks in top end restuarants for 150R.... which is like £10. Id move back ASAP if everything else wasn't so messed up!
