@@MayorHairBearstar wars jedi survivor for PC is a very close 4th. At release it wasnt even playable on 4090s. Quite a few people mentioned having 20+ crashes with some having one every few minutes. It was an absolute shitshow. Now its just barely playable for people with 3070 and above.
@@sapphicmystery2734besides the absolute shitshow that was the performance issues I find comparing a game that had actual thought and effort put into compared to the likes of Gollum, Rise of Kong, and the Walking Dead Destinies is kinda funny. Sure it performed like shit and crashed a decent amount but at least it provided an actual gameplay experience (whenever it didn’t crash) unlike the other games mentioned. Of course thats my opinion and yours might differ.
Congrats on the channel growth this year! Your God of War and Darksiders videos hit my feed near the beginning of this year and I’ve stuck around since then. I had 28 platinums this year, and while I don’t think I can rank them, some highlights for me were: Control Fallout 3 Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time Viewfinder Street Fighter 6 Mortal Kombat X Jedi Survivor Stray The Outer Worlds Remastered Horizon Forbidden West
My favorite completions this year (Xbox) Vampire Survivors 1500/1500 Gris 1000/1000 Control 1390/1390 Chicory 1000/1000 A Short Hike 1000/1000 RE4 1000/1180 (need to buy the dlc) Psychonauts 2 1000/1000 Tell Me Why 1500/1500 Turnip Boy 1000/1000 High on Life 1000/1195 (don’t have the dlc)
I started the Trails franchise this year so I ended up platinuming Cold Steel 1-4, Zero, Azure, and Reverie all within about 6 months or so. Loved every minute. Atelier Ryza 3 was also a blast to platinum, along with Persona 5 Tactica, Spiderman 2, Monochrome Mobius, and Final Fantasy 16.
I've been 100% every Trails on steam. I'm up to Reverie now, it's been great. I love the QOL most of the games have (Sky trilogy is the only rough one)
Here's my top 7 Platinum games for 2023. Honorable mentions: Doom (1993) I have all but one trophy but sadly it's the one that needs me to finish every level on Nightmare in Co-op and finding people to help me with this little job will take quite a while due to it being Local Co-Op only. Yakuza: Like a Dragon: Just need to beat the True Final Millennium Tower and I'm saving that for when I get the Platinum Trophies for Yakuza 0-6, just want to have all of those Platinums in a row. Pac-Man World Re-PAC: Fun little remake of a classic game from my childhood but sadly I just get stuck with the Original Pac-Man so the Retro Gamer trophy will taunt me for quite a while. #7 Yu-gi-Oh! Master Duel: I know it doesn't have a platinum but I did get all of the trophies so I'm counting it #6 The Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe: Got both the PS4 and PS5 platinums so that's a nice tasty 22 Gold Trophies for me in a nice little bucket. #5 PowerSlave Exhumed: Have to give a shout out to Civvie 11 for highlighting this game to me. Great old school shooter with one of the MOST AWESOME endings to a video game I've ever seen! #4 Fallout New Vegas: I fought through the jank, conquered all of the DLC trophies and got all of the Trophies to what is easily the best modern Fallout game. #3 Control: This game sold me on the Remedyverse and I can't wait to get started on Alan Wake 1 and 2. #2 Postal Brain Damaged: Once agin thank you Civvie 11 for introducing me to this insanity and for two Platinum Trophies. #1 Like a Dragon Gaiden the Man who Erased his Name: Easiest Platinum trophy for a RGG game and, that ending man. I haven't cried to a video game ending like that since Season 1 of Telltale's Walking Dead. Saving the PS5 Platinum for when I finish the previous platinums and Infinite Wealth.
Its a good job you didnt play the ascent with other people its a broken glitch buggy mess with constant crashing on both versions which i platinumed pure nightmare
My Top fav Plats of this year was: Spiderman Miles Morales Uncharted Drakes Fortune (PS3) Batman Arkham Asylum (Except for the Combat Challenges) Call of Duty Modern Warfare (2019) The Evil Within 2 Spyro 2 Infamous 1/2 Last of us Part 2 and Bonus: MY hardest but proudest plat i ever earned was The Evil Within all because of the dreaded Akumu Mode where Every Single Enemy kills u in one hit
Gotta say brother of all the games you've done this year I respect control and mass effect. I did control this year as well and It helped inspire a need to play Alan Wake 1 and 2. And the Mass Effect trilogy is a stellar masterpiece. Merry Christmas and a happy new year for more platinum trophies.
@@MayorHairBear Wouldnt say its too bad at first. Getting collectibles, learning how to aim properly and that. But the authentic difficulty is something man... You dont see where your objectives are on the map, enemys stay alerted once they see you, deal way more damage and have more health. I think your bullet also gets more affected by wind and gravity, not sure though. There are also some coop missions and online games you have to play. Sniper elite V2 was a easier since there is no authentic run
Mine would probably be Mein Leben in Wolfenstein 2, and the Halo MCC Laso's. I stay away from the shitty shovelware indie games, so the larger games I do take on, take a decent allotment of time
I just completed 100% the lego star wars complete saga. that was a grind and a half. complete 6 episodes each with 6 chapters for the story, freeplay, challenge, and finally for the super story. that took absolutely forever to do
Out of the 34 games I’ve platinum’d this year, I don’t have a doubt in my mind when I say that my best plat was Yakuza 0. The 100% journey was quite a grind, and some of the other stuff you have to do for other trophies-like the Japan Cat Fights-were painful. Although none of that is in comparison to the climax battles… it took the most amount of time just to finish that whole thing. All in all, I really enjoyed the entire story and looking forward to playing more of the franchise in 2024.
What a ride it has been this year! It's been awesome following along with your platinum trophies, and like I have mentioned before you are a big inspiration for me to have started making my own videos about getting platinum trophies
This year's highlight platinums easily are The Evil Within and Persona 5. Great games and TEW was so satisfying to finally accomplish. Shame I'll be getting the other Persona plats next year.
Mass effect is the perfect choice for the number 1 position, what a great year for the channel looking forward to next year. My top ten 2023 Platinums were: 1.Witcher 3 2.Metal gear Solid 3: Snake Eater 3.Resi 8 4.FF7 Remake Intergrade 5.Cuphead 6.Crash team racing nitro fueled 7.Bioshock 8.Alan Wake 2 9.Resi 7 10.Spiderman 2 (I did also plat Control, but after 2 playthroughs the game just isn't for me)
Thank you mate, always appreciate your support! Damn you had a fun year of plats well done! Out of your top 10 I'd say The Witcher, CTR and the Resi games are games I want to platinum the most in 2024!
My top 10 (and some I did twice): -Astro's Playroom -Ghost Of Tsushima -God Of War Ragnarok -Spider-Man (Remastered & MM) -Control -Syphon Filter trilogy -Horizon Forbidden West -AC Mirage -Killer Frequency -Spider Man 2
Great list of games. The growth of your channel is much deserved. Thanks for the hard work as always! God bless and stay safe! I hope that you have a prosperous, healthy, and successful 2024!
Definitely a solid list. This year, my favourite has to be Hades. Went back early in the year and finished it up. As for new releases, mine has to be Sea of Stars. Hit all the right nostalgia notes for me.
I agree with RDR. One of my all time favorite games but going for the platinum/100% was just annoying and some times just exhausting. Same with RDR2. Amazing game but not a fun platinum.
@@MayorHairBear took me 301 hours for RDR2. And most of it was just searching for random animals to spawn for side missions cause everyone knows that the one animal you need will never spawn 😂😂😂
I loved the Mass Effect Trilogy's platinums, I did them on PS3 and in the Legendary Edition, it was honestly a lot more fun doing Mass Effect 1's platinum in Legendary Edition just because of the improved combat.
@@MayorHairBear It's a lot of fun, and the bonus is that all the dlc came along for free, including the weapons, which is amazing because I never bought any of the weapon dlcs, seriously the Mattock makes Mass Effect 2 SO much easier, and the N7 Valiant is just insane in how strong it is.
Only platinumed Mass Effect 2 on ps3 but in November I got my hands on discounted legendary edition and since then in November finished ME 1 with platinum and in December did ME 2. Can’t wait to start new year with ME 3 platinum!
As always. Awesome video, mate. Hope you had a good Christmas. Have a good new year. See you in the new year, mate. All the best. I'm super happy to see dredge to even make the top 10.
Surprised what you had to say about Deathloop tbh. Even as a huge fan of every Dishonored and Prey, I couldn't say I liked Deathloop; kinda just feels like it took the worst parts from every Arkane game.
What a wonderful video! Merry Christmas Bear! Thanks for all the joy and laughs we’ve shared this year, here’s to many more! My top plats of this year: 5: Robocop: Rogue City. - This game was far beyond what I expected from it and a damn good time. 4: Final Fantasy 16 - what an incredible return from the mainline series. Would’ve been my GOTY, if not beat by number 2. 3: South Park! - Both of them as one entry, I got Fractured near the start of the year and Stick of Truth was one of my more recent ones. So I nice full circle journey and a revisit to some of my favourites. 2: Alan Wake 2 - not so much because of the platinum journey as a whole, but just for it being my GOTY and being absolutely beautiful. 1: Sea of Stars - I know I’ve said it twice already, but this was also in my top 3 GOTY contenders, the platinum is fantastic and much like your description of Mass Effect, you have to absorb every aspect of the game, plus the game opens up for a solid 20+ hours after you’ve finished the main story. Truly a fantastic gem and I hope more people play it!
Thank you mate, Merry Christmas and enjoy the holidays my friend! I have played South Park out of those 5 so I need to try those games out myself especially Alan Wake 2 which I still have not done!
