Of all the guns in my safe, none are more beloved than my 725. Had more fun with that unit than pretty much all others combined. Glad to see it on this list.

Well, for more than 50 years I carried the original, .12 gauge model over-under Browning Superposed shotgun. I do not remember it ever mis-fired, nor did Ihave any trouble with it. And this include four or five hours at the trap/skeet range on Sundays. And I bought one for my wife too. This was among my collection of every other shotgun make you can imagine.

687 SP III is hard to beat for durability and available parts. Every gun smith has the parts to rebuild the Beretta 6 series. Same as the Browning 525 and 725

Favorite is the Beretta 694, I have the previous model 692 X-Trap. Very nice!

I have a 694 acs/bfast an love how it shoots. The only issue I have with it is that at $6k, I’ve seen other 694s and brands at 1/2 the cost that have more,attractive wood. Mine is absolutely awesome but you can’t tell the price premium sitting in a rack next to say a browning with a maple stock. Or a blazer f3…. The wood on mine looks great but not premium. And I can take my franchi affinity 3 semi auto in synthetic black stock out, get zero looks at it, and shoot within 5 score of my beretta that cost 6x as much.

My pinnacle shotgun is my Browning 725 Feather 12 gauge over under shotgun. Weighing 6 pounds and 7 ounces with 26 inch barrels mine feature Trulock Extended Ported Blackened stainless steel chokes in improved cylinder and improved modified.

101 12 gauge and a Superposed Feather 20 gauge. At the moment I find a Superposed 12 gauge with 28" tight chojed tubes I'll be adding it. But a bit off topic, I must add my 1st love of a quick pointing, reliable, hammer of a shotgun is the sub 6lb Sweet Sixteen.

My next shotgun is Fabarm Elos N2 All Sport, be careful with Beretta, in Europe only DT models are good nivel, but series 68, 69, quality questionable, Perazzi great shotguns.

Interesting. Definitely good choices below $4000 . Once you save up a bit longer and can spend 5-10k the options open up dramatically.

Yes true. I guess they are all great shotguns and affordable to some extent . Otherwise there is no end to the list of getting the best . Big bucks involved . For me Beretta SO series

SO’s are beautiful and pricey. I switched from. Beretta to a Caesar Guerini and that lifetime warranty with free “pit stop” service is really hard to beat.

I would love to own a 10k shotgun it would be my prized possession but honestly is a 10k gun a better shooter than a 4k gun? I'm pretty sure they would both be mechanically identical but the 10k gun would be rare wood with gold engraving on it.

They're definitely world class. I'm within the old school and still love the 101 and the Superposed. Within the new crowd the Browning 725 certainly has my attention.
