I grew up in the goddamn middle east and moved to Norway two years ago since I have the citizenship. I worked here mostly in planting christmas trees (lol) and in remote tourist cabins. As beautiful as it is here, I will admit that I am envious at the abundance and variety of nature in the USA. Hopefully I'll travel there one day! Your content is great, I like that it covers all walks of life.
I'd love nothing kore than to have you travel the USA... and the Middle East. I am dating a Palestinian, wanting to visit, maybe even move to Jordan with her. We also want to see Egypt, and my other BF from Jordan lives in Dubai currently. I want to see all places ! and I hope you will come visit HERE (Colorado)... it's gorgeous, but currently overpriced, hard to live here. Maybe we can even travel together. What part of the Mid East are you from? PS, I have a good friend, from Morocco, living in Finland, and several good friends in Norway I'd love to travel to and meet in person. ..
The Great Lakes are connected to the Atlantic Ocean actually via the St. Lawrence Seaway. It is a man made connection. They had to build a system of locks and canals to connect the Great Lakes to the Atlantic via the St. Lawrence River. This was completed in 1959 and makes places like Duluth, Chicago, Milwaukee, Detroit, and Toronto into functionally ocean ports.
It is also roundaboutly connected to the Mississippi waterway through an artificial waterway too. It is part of the reason we currently are fighting so hard against invasive carp species making their way up north. It is unfortunate.
I’m from the south, but I’ve lived in California, Arizona and Nevada and once you get West there’s a different energy in “the air”. It makes you feel good everyday. Amazing!
So funny, I’m opposite! I was raised in California, and it was beautiful but the politics and homeless problem are so bad I moved my family to East Tennesse a few years ago. I think the south is far more beautiful, green, friendly, moral, and safe. I should have left the west 15 years ago! Voting red for my nation and children! ❤️✌🏽🫶🏽
2:05 If you get along, and discuss the sharing/allocation of responsibilities prior to move-in, there's nothing better than living with friends in my opinion. I lived with friends until I moved in with my ex-wife. Always cool to come home to somebody you can talk with, and split the rent. You can head to your room if you need some iso time. :-)
You guys ever want to come out here to Utah, hit me up before you come, 4R, I moved here from Naples FL for work, and I dont even work at that place anymore, I love it here, its pretty dope, but serious, its worth seeing at least once.
21:00 those are the Cajun last names 😉 there was a big migration of Acadians from French-speaking Canada down the rivers to southern Louisiana in the early 1600s. i think there were only about 300 settlers originally, and ethnic Cajuns today are descended from that small group. that’s why so many of them share the same last names. side note: i miss living in Baton Rouge. with the Cajuns everyone was kin to someone you knew, so you were always welcomed like family.
I live in Oregon...been here almost 50 years and I still haven't seen everything it has to offer! It's great for vacationing...LOTS of cool stuff to see!
The fuzzy green trees are in the "Hall of Mosses" in the Hoh Rainforest near Forks, Washington. As Americans you own that! It rains about 12 FEET per year.
For what it’s worth... Def don’t quit youtube. Your videos are great. Take a look at the average rent prices of cities across the country and you’ll get a good idea of what it’s going to be like for you. If rent is really high in your city, will you be able to afford activities/entertainment? Consider your quality of life. When I was your age my boyfriend at the time, myself, and a friend, bought a house together. A couple of years after that my boyfriend and I bought out our friend and he moved into his own house. Boyfriend and I then got married at our house. It was significantly less expensive to purchase than rental prices in our area. Living with friends was great, but if someone you live with has a big life change it can change the living dynamics. Giving each other an easy out when they are ready, guilt free, is the mindset to have going into an arrangement like this. You will never be able to truly predict what is going to happen, so allow for that and it’ll be much less stressful. Wishing you all the best in your next step, it’s going to be a fucking BLAST!
🦋 Young black brothers, live in your best life after college. I hope you keep this channel going after college. Much love and many blessings to you all
Back to the first question about roommates…Y’all take your time and make sound decisions. My son rushed into everything and now he finds himself lost because of his responsibilities. If y’all are wanting to travel… do it! Do stuff on your own or with friends before getting tied down. I’d give this advice to anyone. ❤
Wherever you all decide to live, make sure you can visit each other regularly or at the very least do a regular online thing. I have three sisters, and we're all very close, but two of them live 325+ miles away, and it sucks to not see them that much anymore. So we do a sibling game night online every week (or as close to every week as we can) and it's been a great way to stay connected while doing something fun together. Highly recommend something like that for sure
My state of Maine made the list, #10!!! I've been camping DEEP in the woods, where there's zero light pollution, and the number of stars you can see when it's that dark is awe inspiring. They're almost like grains of sand of a beach. Like Louisiana, we have a lot of French last names, but they're French Canadian (we're close to Quebec), not Parisian.
The problem is that the people screaming they don't like America never leave. The day a Black person ever gets out to see America the true reality hits them that America is not the negative nation they have been led to believe. Get out and go see America. Meet different people and you will see that everything you have been getting told as a Black person is not true. I love my country . God Bless America.
Being from Alaska, you can drive the Alcan Highway ( if you have several days to spare ) to Alaska through British Columbia. You can go by boat through the Inside Passage or Fly. Alaska's only connection to land is Canada. The entire population of Alaska is roughly 740 thousand people compared to the City of Houston Texas which has roughly 2.313 Million People. With Texas being 268,597 square miles and Alaska at 665,400 square miles in which you could fit texas inside Alaska 2 and a half times. Alaska is 55 miles from Russia with 2 small islands in between. Technically you could walk from Alaska to Russia IF the Bering Strait froze over, but it doesn't, The Bering Sea, especially The Bering Strait is one of the most violent and treacherous of seas and would almost be suicide to try it by boat. Just thought you might like a little insight to the Vastness of Alaska.
The reason Canada doesn't have Alaska is at the time Canada was part of the British empire and when the Tsar of Russia had to sell Alaska as he was broke Britain was one of their main rivals so he sold it to the USA to get his money but not help a rival nation.
I lived with roommates when I first moved out o my parents house. It saves you a lot of money splitting rent, utilities, internet and everything else. As long as you respect each other you should get along.
And dude talking about going to Aspen is expensive, extremely!!! That's why I go to Estes Park. Going again in November, it's more affordable and still get an awesome view .Airbnb is usually best option, I'm driving from SATX so it's a 16 hr drive but gas and house stay, you can do a 5 day trip under 2k. Take multiple people split up the costs and much more affordable
I've seen every state but Alaska. And I"ve seen many other countries too. America is an amazing country. If you ever make it my way, give me a heads up, I'll take you for a drink and show ya around. Granted, I'm around 25 years older than you guys. But you remind me of my sons. God bless and keep expanding your minds my friends.
c'mon guys, Louisiana is a sportmans paradise, y'all are in a college town, although Lafayette and Lake Charles has some awesome horse racing. 3 hours north on I49 is Toledo Bend, awesome bass fishing, if you like blue crabs just go south of Lafayette with string(or net) and chicken legs and catch some, a little further east is Lake Ponchartrain with crabs also. Lots of deer, or if you're brave enough go alligator hunting. Louisiana also has world champion rodeo cowboys like calf roper Shane Hanchey from Sulphur, 3x PBR bullriding champ chris Shivers in Jonesville, Steer wrestling champ Tyler Waguespack in Gonzales. Venture out, make some videos, your energy would be awesome!
A little trivia about Alaska is the Aleutian Islands cross longitude 180°, so Alaska can be considered the easternmost state as well as the westernmost.
What's up fellas... Been watching your reactions for a cool minute and it's pure entertainment and that's what a RU-vid channel should be even when just reacting to music videos. Keep on doing you guys and bless each one of you. Anyways, I have one request that I would like to make and trust and believe I don't never really comment or ask but like you all been in this Eminem journey there's one song that I haven't seen you guys react to and that's ( BAD GUY ) it's the sequel to Stan. I'm definitely sure you guys would really enjoy this one. Well, enjoy your rest of your day much respect from Modesto, California
do everything you mentioned. you can literally do all the options you called out. time management is key. and get ready to grind. worry about what path to take when it come time to retire, as in you have that old man know it all thing going on and bank. until then chase it all. even if in moderation. divide up the grind and good time management.
I think you guys should buy a house together, keep doing reactions, expand on your content. As you guys get older, invest your money and buy your own supper houses. You guys are great team, keep being that
Haven't seen anything prettier than Washington State till date. Hawaii is the only one that is at the same level. Washington state is just hands down lovely. A small drive around Seattle's dark beaches and mountain towns and you will see why Washington state is so pretty.
I think living together is awesome to save money but make sure you actually save lol I didn’t when I was your age lol Also I would say keep your options open, do RU-vid hard but also maybe check out the workforce to get a feel for what it’s like, if you haven’t worked yet, it’s something you should experience. Imo it will teach you about what you want from a job and probably help you be a better entrepreneur
I’ve been to Hawaii. It’s one of the most beautiful places in the US. If you guys ever get a chance you have to visit. Then you’ll contemplate if you really want to return home. Big Bear, California is nice too. It’s way up in the mountains and there is a lake there.
I think it's cool to live with friends u all will save nbut as u grow as individuals I would embrace if u happen to find right girl u kno life is journey and u boss up and hit different levels just embrace it all
Michigander here. Very excited to see your reaction to the beauty of our state. And what he posted was just a taste. There are numerous beautifully scenic places to visit. In fact many Michigander choose to take most of their vacations in the state because there are so many beautiful places here.
Alaska is actually above most of Canada on it's upper left. Can only get there by air, boat or through Canada. And your man is correct. It's a beautiful state.
Also, when you do drive through Canada to get there, please remember that you are actually in Canada even if your destination is Alaska, and our laws apply and yours do not. I wish I didn't need to actually say that, but some of the stories you hear...
lived in Colorado for 49 years, still exploring it... recently, my mother, son and I went to see Aspen trees and ghost towns... had Chipmunks crawling all over us, and saw my first wild bear, a baby bear... running down the road. I lived in the mountains for 14 years, never saw one until last week.. :P
I did a road trip two years ago and went to South Dakota to see Mt Rushmore and then went to the Badlands. It was beautiful. Saw lots of deer, ram, groundhogs and buffalo:)
I have lived in Michigan my entire life. While I am almost 60, there are still places that I have not seen yet. If you like getting away from it all, this is the state. In fact, my family takes our vacations here.
It is better to buy a house than rent. You can always sell it to buy a different house and you usually make a profit. I bought my first home at 22 years old and my 2nd one at 27. Renting with friends is not always wise and can make you enemies even. I am a woman and believe me, women do not get along unless they are family to live together. Plus because I bought the house, I didn't like the room-mate changing things around except in her own room. I paid more of everything since I owned it. She lasted 6 weeks and that was the end of room-mates. I never lived with anyone until I got married, so yeah; headaches I didn't need. Renting property is throwing money down the drain because you don't make anything out of it. Plus you can do whatever you want to your property (usually). Something to think about...but then again guys are probably easier to get along with...so male room-mates may be okay. But once a woman gets involved...good luck!
Maine is beautiful, I live in South East New Hampshire we border Maine. Friendly people, all 4 seasons....then again it is only warm here for about 4 months a year. October through May it is cold only a few days of 60+ degree weather, our Summers are nice and last about 3 months. It's definitely worth checking out.
I would take cold any day of the week. I made the mistake of moving to Memphis to be near family. It has been the most miserable 4 years of my life. Six to 7 months of horrible heat and humidity. Fortunately my contract ends in March and I will be definitely headed for the East Coast!
Yes the Great Lakes are accessible from the Atlantic Ocean through the soo locks. I live in Duluth Minnesota and we have Salty's coming through all shipping season long.
I live with 2 guys I served in the Army with. It's a pretty good situation tbh. We know each other very well, and we established boundaries and responsibilities. Additionally, there's never a shortage of food or beverages. We all eat and drink way too much lol
Live with friends. Rent a house. Have some fun for a few years. Travel - take car trips together. California is beautiful. It has the most natural parks in the contiguous U.S., ocean, desert, mountains and sand dunes. And everything in between. Couldn't see the vehicle on your phone it was probably a dune buggy. Can be at the beach and drive an hour to be in the mountains.
Bro, America has the greatest wildlife diversity, from coast to coast it changes. I'm canadian, we also have beautiful wild life, but still not as much as the US... youre so lucky
I really enjoyed Austin, fun environment, but pretty expensive. I rented a house with a few friends after College, but buying with friends is a pretty risky move. It can go either way, just learn about the difficulties others have been through. It's all about informed decisions.
Visit South Lake Tahoe, Ca. People from all over the world go there. Drive around the lake.. Take the gondola to the top. $20/ person. Jet ski, snowmobile, ect... The 2 big 5 star hotels are Harvey's and Harrah's. Under $90 a night.! Why so cheap? They have casinos in the basement and make their $$ that way, Fly into SFO and it's a BEUTIFUL 2.5 Hr. drive. Don't go during a holiday or a 3 day weekend. too crowded.....
I live in Kentucky by the Land Between the Lakes. Beautiful area, really friendly people and safe. Now the cities give you more money, but the cost of living there is outrageous. I was so glad to live here when covid shut downs happened. We had it too but nothing like they did in the big cities. But to raise a family and enjoy life.
Y’all have to consider all aspects of your future, along with each one of y’all are heading toward? Please consider the place that you are going to choose to live along with the type of work that you will be able to obtain also the cost as a whole because there will be going to be some expense surprises along the way and unforeseen circumstances as well so please consider to make the proper choice when it comes down to living expenses and arrangements then in that way, have a good source of communication among yourself to be able to understand each other, and lean on one another when things come up. 🤠
I've lived in Michigan, Oregon, California, Arizona, Texas, Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida and visited 40+ states. The West is good to visit but Florida is the place to live, hands down.
hah love how in the first 10seconds it shits on Stockton in Cali. shit I live 20min from there. Didn't know this video was going to go ham on us like that 😂
My advice guys is follow y’all’s passions and dreams. Sounds cliche but don’t wait until later in life until you realize it. Get a house, enjoy life and pump out content, you’ll be successful. Create revenue streams, diversify and build something.
You wonderful young gentleman need to travel together, and then move to a climate that you all enjoy. I think you would love Michigan. And sand rail or dune buggy. Silver lake in Michigan is worth a video view. ❤️ also black bears have a swipe of 560 lbs. so one swipe can kill you easily.
YOU NEED TO CONSIDER THE DIFFERENT COSTS OF LIVING. S. MO. IS VERY REASONABLE. STARTING AS A GROUP WOULD PROVIDE SOME SECURITY. PLUS FRIENDS AROUND ARE ALWAYS NICE,
Damn no love for Massachusetts. I get it tho it's cold 8 months of the year and taxes aren't great but there is some perks especially living near the coast/cape cod. Boston itself is overrated I think. I definitely think you should try and buy something together just write out contracts and really talk it out. I want to do it with my friends but they have commitment issues. Good luck to yall!
Just so you know, it doesn't rain as much in Washington as people say. half the days they count as rainy days it only sprinkles for like an hour then is sunny. Also it pretty much never rains in the summer, last year we went like 5 months with only like 2 rainy days, the rest were sunny and hot, like 90's hell it was in the 80's until the end of October xD don't get me wrong is does rain quite a bit, but mainly only in the late fall and winter, mainly it's just cloudy... except in summer when you can't escape the damn heat T-T a few summers ago it ever reached 110 in Seattle and they had 100+ temps for like 9 days. But if you hate rain that much, just go to eastern washington, our state is cut in half by the cascades and in the east it's pretty much deserts and badlands where it practically never rains, is usually sunny, and hot.
Y'all could take a road trip to Arkansas and dig up your own diamonds I think it's like 20 or $25 for a 5 gallon bucket you go out filled up and dirt shift it and if you got diamonds you get to keep them not going to be like bling bling in like Jay-Z or nothing but it's something to do that you did we've done it is pretty fun
Yall gotta react to some UK music like Fredo: daily duppy Central cee: loading Dave: heart attack and black at the brits Harlem Spartans: Kennington where it started
I live in Washington and my back yard would make this list. Lol beautiful waterfalls ferns. Massive trees. I live in a log house on a river that is pristine. Deer, bears. Cougars and bobcats in my back yard. I live less than a hour from Portland. I’ve taken some beautiful photos of my home. Washington and Oregon are similar. Oregon is way more amazing than they listed. They didn’t mention the dunes or Columbia River gorge which is a huge land mark. Montana does look impressive and Alaska is beautiful. I spent time in Anchorage and the Arctic circle in a small town called Kotzebue which Is close to Russia. Alaska is amazing. Hawaii should be in the top three. I’ve been to all the islands it is ridiculous. Nothing like it. Guys mentioned Texas and I was in Austin a year ago and that was a pretty cool town. Texas is a little too crowded for my taste though. San Antonio is over rated and El Paso was boring.
Interest rates for mortgages are out of control right now. Plus you need at least a few years of steady income to even qualify...It's not as easy as it use to be. Best bet is to share an apartment for a few years and save your money. Wait for rates to drop.
