I have a 1957 Gold sovereign, which although not rare is still worth around £600 as it is in mint condition. It was the first gold sovereign of QEII's reign to be mass minted and the first sovereign ever to be minted solely as an investment as Gold sovereigns were no longer used as a coin in general circulation.
I have the gold football coin, but I would just like to know how do I distinguish it between the standard coin and the gold coin because i couldn’t find anything online to establish the difference between the two exactly?
I got 8 Crown collection recently. I am happy to see That UK audience is really nice and not greedy about coins they have. Here many people from India are greedy about any coin they found and expect their value in Lakhs, and get scammed.❤
Hi I have a huge coin collection. I have the gold 1996 football coin featured in your video among them. How do I go about getting them all valued please? I think I have about 400 coins going back to queen Victoria. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you
I think you may have the base metal version of the football £2 which is not worth much However I would recommend the Brittania Coin Company for valuation
Hi i am a new coin collector and have gathered quite a few rare coins and was wondering about my 1981 new pence 2p coin can you tell me if all the hype is true is it worth alot of money?? And can you tell me how much please.
I have 2 complete £2 coin collections (1997-2015 technologies,2015-2022 Britannia,2023 to present) including all the commemorative coins (I have 2 Claim to right coins and 4 N.Ireland commenwealth games coins. Any Idea on value?
I actually have a big Churchill coin il have a look at it when I get a chance. I have british penny's from 1948 1939 1963 1906 1921 and a half penny from 1862. Would these be worth anything do ye think?I also have the dictionary 50p from 2005. Iv no clue about the values
I have just one, a 1992/93 50p and its in a 1993 UNC set given to me for free by a stamp collector wanting to get rid of his coins. He had no idea and neither did I then (2012) that the coin was super rare.
i have a 1999 mis struck £2 coin the little circle of bumps around the Queens head are off centre so half is on the outer coin and the rest on the centre silver bit.. worth anything ??
Because in 1983 it was meant to say two pence replacing the words from before that were new pence so any new pence dated between 1971 and 1982 are normal 2p coins
@@Scottishcoinsbro Yes, I thought about it and makes sense. Iv checked my 2p coins with New Two Pence this morning. Iv kept quite a few but alas NO 1983 🥲 I will keep on looking!!! Thank you for your uploads much appreciated.
I had the Kew gardens one but sadly I didn't know it was rare at the time. When I got it in the change it did strike me as a nice design then I stuck it in the change jar.
Very informative video, I have the 1992/93 EU 50p, and the Kew Gardens 50p, (both 2009 & 2019 versions) I also have a rare and valuable 2009 Blue Peter Gymnastics Strike Your Own 50p, I wonder how many of those were made?
Don't forget the 2009 Mule 10 pence with reverse of 2008 (Lion, not shield). Potentially in change - value? Not calculated at this point as only two known. It is a currency type of coin now authenticated by the Royal Mint.
I have the first day cover 1992-93 50 pence still in the plastic casing in the envelope mint number 01607 Love your channel, you got a new subscriber 👌
I have in my collection a queen Elizabeth 1954 half penny in mint condition of this year of 1954 looked it up and sadly a lot were made, but I maybe sitting on a gem who knows, please can you advise 🙏
I had one that was taken out of its pack and my child opened it and spent it i thought id got another in the martini collection from 1983 but it was a two pence one❤
@@ahsanrana007 It has to be dated 1983 all other dates are no good just worth the 2p face value. This is because the 2p coins minted in 1983 should have had Two Pence on them and NOT New Pence on them if that make sense. I’m still looking for a 1983 😂👍
Can I ask a question? You’re saying they’re the rarest conscious now? You’ve not even mentioned you’ve not mentioned the other ones like the Tempe the 5p the P the 1p I’ve got them coins what’s a new pants on all of them from the 2p to the Tempe there’s five coins I’ve got in a blue package and it says, they’re all saying new pants on it even the one pencil says it 5 p pence is that is that? Is it? Or is it just common? You’ve seen them before? I’ve never seen? I’ve never seen a new pants or a pants and the pants and the pants as well, all of them say, cardboard printed cardboard cardboard
Do you any idea about 1988 Two Pence struck on a wrong metal planchet.I saw one and it was sold for around 2014 for £1,400 .First ever to be found. But i was able to find same date in a wrong planchet as well.
Would you consider the 1981 commemorative coin overweight an error.must weigh 28.28 grams but weighs 28.7 grams.i check the diameter and thickness and looks like the specifications is the same from the commemorative coins that produced from wales.1981
The Churchill Crown is not even worth its face value of five shillings, since all Crowns issued prior to decimalisation have been demonetised. However, it is now getting close to 25p for its metal content. There were so many minted that it is not really possible to sell them, as the postage would be worth more than the value of the coin. For example, there is one on eBay just at the moment at £0.99 in uncirculated condition and postage of £1.55. Not worth the total of £2.54 - there are no takers.
