The F-16 was actually made by General Dynamics which was later bought out by Lockheed Martin. Although Israel does do some of its own modifications it also has coordinated with the USAF to implement and test modifications at Air Force Bases in America that I wont name now due to the current war. The F-16i is a block 52 plus version, it is not made in Israel, they simply took their existing American F-16s and modified some of the systems to upgrade.

The IDF is not as powerful as everyone makes them out to be, if it were a fair fight. Both sides were evenly matched. Or even if Palestinian forces had a slight edge. There is no way Israel would do what it is doing now. The IDF has never had to face a serious opponent that could take the fight up to them. Take a hypothetical if for example they had to fight the U.S, the Americans would annihilate IDF forces within 4-8 weeks, maybe even sooner than that.
