Thanks for a fantastic covered of all the races in the last couple years, GCN crews👍🤩 You will be miss and I hope to see you guys again soon. Rest In Peace, Gino and all those many riders whom lost their life on the road😢🙏🙏🙏
The top three in my mind were (in no order), Allison Jackson hard won victory, Matej Mohorič's interview, and Sepp Kuss' chugging champagne after stage 6.
@@gcnracing I love watching Paris-Roubaix Femmes and men's edition. I'm also a sucker for The Giro (both) and Tour de Suisse (both). But I have to admit, it'll be fun to follow Le Tour's GC battle, and each sprint stage if Cavendish is close to the front.
2:05 STILL makes me cry! Ugh, i just love this interview because he finally said all the things that i feel!! We think they are robots that can just DO, but no, he explain it so well!! "I just feel like, so many things right now".
Brilliant recap of the year thanks Dan! Bang on with all you points! Another loss of the year is our GCN+..... 💔💔💔 I'm gutted for you the most Dad as I'm sure it was you+ your teams baby.... taken away by big knobs above you 😢
Super glad to see Alison Jackson's win at Paris Roubaix Femmes at 4! That was amazing to watch her win it after being with the breakaway group that day.
You always do a great job recounting the week's events, Dan. This tribute and the words you selected to describe an amazing year of cycling and the inspiring competitors within, are magnificent. Chapeau, Mr. Lloyd.
@@HolgerDanske874 you're wrong. It was one of the most memorable moments of the year, for all the narratives around the race and their battle that now extends into 2024.
@@adamdickinson2894 Maybe for you, for everyone else the Tour de France was already over. Vingegaard had won the tour at that time, which makes it just another stage win like all other GT stage wins. Everyone already forgot it until you mentioned it here.
@@HolgerDanske874 'everyone' so you've asked every single other cycling fan in the world and they all agree with your opinion? Or is just your opinion that you can't actually back up so you manufacture a consensus in place if that?
What the HECK!!!? Your parent company shut down the GCN app!! 👀😕😕😕 I used it to listen to races in several languages and casting it in my big screen or to watch from my phone while vacationing (on bike tour)…Now I would be tied to a primitive and non-mobile computer screen…..HOW is THAT progress???
Tadej crashing out in L-B-L, thus denying the showdown with Remco... truly disappointing... but hoping the 2024 TdF will have fireworks between these two.
Not really my choices for top moments except for the Tadej classic streak. I mean you kind of missed MVDPs 1st 2nd 1st in monuments along with a world championship Jersey and Phillipsens phenomenal season (most wins out of everyone). Yes Jumbo did win 3 grand tours which was historical, but who really enjoyed watching the tours (looking at you Vuelta). Vingegaards Timetrial in the tour is still questionable to this day.
Matej Mohoric interview... give me a fooking break... it's nauseating to watch grown men cry like babies over riding a bike. People have real things to cry about.
@@johnwestwell2241 he won so little though. To have him higher than the first ever treble season is so bizarre. A worlds first, versus a belligerent man who couldn’t descend or time trial and honestly not even that good at climbing and had the tactical nous of a junior. Lucky yes. Good? Only a Little. I I have no idea why people care about him.
Guys like Tim Declerk and Dries Devenyns, barely won any races in their careers, but localy they are hero's. Pinot was more like a top rider, and had more fans and hardcore fans, so they turned up for a final goodbye. Sport brings emotions, and that's what its all about. So who cares who gives a f***, anyone that does has a good reason for it.
