My partner got three Parker jotter, black, red and blue barrel with matching inks. This takes her back to her school days. I am ok with the Parker Jotter fountain pen
I'm currently using parker IM for taking long notes and parker 45 that my father gives me, still remember that 45 back im 80s the he bought it now im using it for writting my name and signing.

I have a Parker 51, a Parker 45 and a Parker that I don't know the name, but it's a inkwell as well, and the point it's resembles an Arrow, I like this pen Very much because it's so. unique. I've tested the ingenuity. It's a fine felt tip marker... A super expensive one. Honestly though... It does write a lot better than any felt tip marker I've ever used. There's a tiny bit of line variability, the ink it puts down is consistent and the overall writing experience is "alright," to "pretty decent." Unfortunately it draws too much attention to itself when being used in public because almost all the ingenuity pens are very flashy. Overall I would say that it's way too expensive for what you're getting, the writing experience is like using a luxurious high quality felt tip marker and I would say that using it out in public is "showing off too much." I recommend it I don't strongly recommend it I wouldn't use it out in public Most people will get a bitter taste in their mouth if they buy it at full price for what you're getting.
@@DayspringPensthe Parker jotter I bought off Amazon came in a Parker Est. 1888 box with a little thing of folded paper hidden underneath the pen area that does mention international warranty. I would’ve never noticed it had I not read this comment to look for it. I feel like Parker’s current jotter pens are not as high quality though as they used to be. It feels metal but kind of “cheap” in a way, hard to describe. I almost considered buying a Parker pen off of EBay instead of a new one since old things seem to always be higher quality than stuff made today. My pens paperwork has 2023 on it
About a Parker IM ballpoint - I just bought it off eBay and it doesn't seem legit. My Parker IM has a plastic bottom part - is it suppose to be plastic? Had few Parker pens and they seemed quite heavy and nicely cold in touch.
It is hard for us to know exactly which part you are talking about. The Parker IM models that we carry are all metal constructed, other than a small plastic piece that fits on the back of the refill.
@@DayspringPensI bought a Parker Ballpoint Jotter pen (blue ink) off of Amazon on sale for about $13 just the other day and it seems ok, everything FEELS like it’s made out of metal, the ink cartridge is all metal except the plastic blue bit on its back end, but the pen overall does not feel very heavy. It’s hard to describe but it feels “metal” but also kind of light and cheap almost? I have read from folks that Parker pens made today feel cheaper and not as quality or heavy as they used to back in the day, I don’t know if this is true as it’s the first Parker jitter I have owned. Any insight?
