If you get it tuned you should be about 200-210whp, a stock GT is around 160-170whp, surely not 250whp. It would be around that 250hp mark at the crank after its tuned tho.

What kind of engin should I put in my 03 eclipse

My 2000 eclipse (not gt) is is such good condition. It has 141K miles. I want to make it straight piped but I’m not well informed of the possible pros and cons of doing so. Is it safe to str8 pipe it? If it is, do I need to upgrade some parts along with str8 piping it? If so, what parts??

In the lower 48, body kits are cheap. Like your hood. It would cost another 1000$ to send to Anchorage, ak.

Ay I bought a 03 gt as well. It’s been such a pain though. I’ve replaced all pistons/rods/rings, heads, and a bunch of other things and it just cranks. Found out it’s cylinder 3 having no compression. It’s gonna suckkkk to take the engine back apart:/

how many miles did yours have when you first got it

coil overs have no travel , hitting a dip in the road at 80MPH is not fun

I have had my 3g for about 30 days, it was hit in the Menard parking lot and has a dented fender and warped bumper :( very sad
