I just completed both. Jobs are contacting me back now. Anyone with no prior knowledge in I.T will benefit tremendously from taking either 1 or both of them.
@Back to Gaming I took the google IT support and the ibm technical support. These courses are roughly the same but with no knowledge I took both so I could really understand what i learned instead of just taking the course for the cert.
So this is a list of the courses on the main page. If you go into the catalog, you can find much more. Web design, app/mobile development, programming, game development, college credit courses, etc.

Yes! I’d take the Google IT Cert before the IBM Cybersecurity analyst cert just because the google IT cert will give you a lot of foundational knowledge that you’ll need for the IBM cert!

Hello Ben, I’m currently an IBM student by Coursera I have no idea about anything related to cybersecurity and that’s what I’m studying…. As a beginner do you recommend me to keep going in what I’m doing ?
If you’re completely new, I’d say consider taking the IBM Cybersecurity Analyst or Google IT Support course. I’d follow that up with the Security + and maybe other CompTIA courses.
I wonder if this certifications work if you're someone from a second world country with no higher education qualifications. Can you actually get any of this jobs when you put in consideration visa's? If anyone can relate with me and share some info I would really appreciate your help
