I am such a sucker for Vanilla scented fragrances….whether it’s the more gourmand ones that smell like bakery goods, the ones that are just straight up vanilla, or the ones that are more floral but have a hint of vanilla….I feel like you can never go wrong with vanilla scented fragrances. I personally love Kay Ali’s Vanilla fragrance and of course Bare Vanilla from VS.
I layer kayali 28 with Laura Mercier vanille gourmand and nest vanilla oil (with almond oil) you can also spray bare vanilla body spray to top it off *chefs kiss* thank me later everyone
I recently got kayali vanilla 28 & vanilla woods in a roller ball to try. Vanilla woods is my fave! I don't like kayali just smelling it right after I put it on but throughout the day I'll move & be like dang I smell good.
I love ithis video because I ❤️ vanilla! Also the 'G' in Cognac is silent pronounced "KonYAc" like the alcohol. Kilian is a member of the Hennesy family (creators of Hennesy alcoholic beverages) which is why most of his fragrances have that note and some of the packaging mimics whiskey decanters and glasses, hence the Angel Share packaging.

Vanilla is kinda tricky for me. When I was a kid certain vanilla scents made me nauseated and now that I’m grown I also have sinus pains with overly sugared and pungent vanilla. But subtle pure vanilla scents are sooo good. I’ve learned over the years that there are different vanilla notes (woody, spicy, pure vanilla bean, powdery, sugary, etc) and my staple rn is vanilla bean oil from Kuumba made. I layer it with my other perfumes to make them last like Pink Sugar, Donna Born in Roma Intense, Black Opium, and Marc Jacobs perfect.
That NEST oil is beautiful. Another trick you can do is add the oil to your plain scented lotion (or scented if you’re brave) in your hands and spread it on your entire body. Try it, trust me. For whatever reason, I get brown sugar from Kayali vanilla 28 instead of pure vanilla 😅. It’s still pretty. When I want to smell like vanilla, I’ll use MFK Gentle Fluidity Gold on top of VS Bare Vanilla Untamed. Vanilla Woods isn’t for me, but I love Sol De Janiero 40. It’s cheaper and just smells better to my nose.
I enjoy vanilla woods! And I also get compliments every single time I wear it! It’s more of my running errands chill day type of fragrance. I also really like vanilla 28, and it’s great for layering also. The nest oil in vanilla smells like lemon pound cake to me…not in a bad way 😂

I’m a Vanilla addict so I love this video! I also recommend VANILLE by OUTREMER, it’s a pure punch in the face vanilla. It’s amazing!! I find it at Anthropologie and it’s an Eau de toilette.

Sometimes I’m using a scented body oil instead of lotion and the oils I use with it are from Brown Sugar Babe in the scent Cloud 9 which is a Vanilla & Marshmallow scent. It’s a very sweet and yummy but it’s not too much at the same time. I love it!
Comptoir Sud Pacifique - Vanilla Abricot is THE BOMB!! They carry several vanilla scents including vanilla extreme, but the slight fruity combination is the best scent to me.
@@Angela-zf8sni have it and the vanilla is overpowering, apricot is just the cherry on top. However it is more discreet, no monster projection. I heard there is an alternative - montale sweet vanilla, that is a strong one
I got the 7 Virtues as a sample and loved it. I found that the longevity was not there, I mean it was gone almost immediately. Your experience with longevity sounds good so maybe I will give it another try. I am going to prime myself to get that Guerlain though. Just in the last couple of days, I'm seeing many influencers share it and you've convinced me.
Be Layered has a scent called SWEET SPIRIT that is meant to be an alternative to Spiriteuse Double Vanille. I definitely recommend anyone interested in a Smokey vanilla give it a shot
Ash, I despised vanilla fragrances for years. It made me nauseous and I just couldn't take it. Somehow watching your videos for 1 year now, I am almost considered addicted to vanilla scents. Definitely feel this. I enjoy the actual scent of vanilla foods or extract, but I struggle to find a vanilla perfume that I can stand. I’ve seen so many people raving about how much they love Vanilla Woods, yet I cannot stand it 😭 also can’t stand Vanilla Bean Noel by Bath and Body Works. I’m extremely hesitant with vanilla fragrances but want to find one so bad that I love.
I enjoy ALL vanilla and you have so many good ones. I ALWAYS get compliments on Note Vanillee. I also like Tihota Indult as a seductive and sweet one as well as Angelique Noir as an earthy unique vanilla.

I just got a sample of Vanilla Woods, and I did not like it at all at first. As it dries down and the vanilla note comes through more, it’s not so bad. I think I’m just not in love with one of the other notes, but I’m definitely going to see how it does over a longer period of time.

Vanilla, caramel desert gourmand scents are my absolute faaaavorite!! Gng to Sephora tomorrow to check out the fragrance oil as I find those to be stronger and last longer! 😍 Also, have you ever tried Iyoba body oils?? I’ve been looking for a review but there are very few on RU-vid. I think they are absolutely amazing 🥰 makes my skin feel silky and moisturized all day! My absolute favorite vanillas are: Spirituese Double Vanille, Kayali Vanilla 28, Annick Goutal Nuit et Confidences, Javoy Fire at Will, Mazzalori Vaniglia, Nest Madagascar Vanilla oil, Yves Rocher Cuir de Nuit, Eau de Missions, M. Micallef Note Vanille. Get you some Yves Rocher Cuir De Nuit and Annick Goutal Nuit et Confidences!

Oh I love me some Vanilla!!! I especially love a good sweet Vanilla. My all time favorite, hands down, is Vanille Fatale by Tom Ford although it's a boozy vanilla not sweet. My newest purchases that I'm absolutely obsessed with is Amouage Vanilla Barka,Vanille 44 by Le Labo and Vanille antique by Byredo. I do love to layer the Nest Oil or the Nishane Ani oil with my Vanillas as well as Eos Vanilla Cashmere lotion🍦. I don't care for the Laura Mercier fragrances but I love the body cream. I could literally swim in a vat of Vanilla. It's such a mood lifter for me 🥰

I love Vanilla Woods and kayali. I really wanna try Madagascar vanilla parfume Oil from nest, but sadly Its not availble in my country 🇩🇰 . I think nest is only being in the us😔 but i am gonna blind buy Laura mercier right now ♥️😊 Great video btw
