So true, Cody, I almost feel like you're making these videos for me. I'm working on staying consistent with sounding confident and making the customer buy into my mood and me not buy into theirs. When a customer answers and sounds unenthused, the worst thing a cold caller can do is let the customers state phase them. It's instant failure.

Cody, I love your material! I honestly do. I am learning tons. Can you tell me, though, how do you open when you call someone who HAS NOT asked for the information? It is truly a cold call. In most of your examples you say something like ".... this is Cody, and I bring you the info you requested or signed up for...." I am calling people who did not take our quotes in the past, OR who left us, OR cross-sell. I am absolutely a newbie: just passed the exam and got certified. Training, sadly, is not exactly the best so I am fighting to learn on my own.

This is priceless, Cody!! I just started (got recently certified to sell P&C, which means I don't know what I'm doing quite yet, although I am learning tons from people like you. My leads are pretty much cold calls (cross-sale, win-backs). We do not set up appts, but rather sell over the phone. I wish you would have a demo on cold calls for P&C sales. I am taking notes and committing to memory all the tips you give us. Love your material. Thanks so much for sharing.

"Lack of control" is the one I struggle with the most. My tendency is to go running for cover when met with objections. I really need to overcome this.

@@audryrose2829 just call 833-402-4368 and tell them what you're interested in (coaching, leads, or marketing) and they'll get you to the right person!

I just got my licence (though i live in canada) and am in my first week of training. Alot of what you're saying is helping me out while we're in this Covid Lockdown, and is a great supplemental tool that I'm using in conjunction with the Training I'm currently getting over the phone/through WebX meetings, as well as conference calls.
