Thanks for your in-depth videos man! I appreciate all the information your share on this channel! It’s inspiring me to try and tackle and install my own upgrades!!! I have a 2016 370z and I’ve been inspired since I watched your videos on the csc delete kit!!! Thx again and keep up the awesome informative videos!
good to see the rotrex being used. Super efficient blowers, and yes they are quiet. I have a c38R myself on my honda 3.7L v6. looking forward to see how it works for you guys!
Awesome video! The ACE kit is great! But if there's a buyback option well... I can get benefit from easier maintenance, better filtration and lower noise.
this is actually the same kit principle as the GTM kit, with the exception of the twin portion. GTM used the same Rotrex C38 supercharger (2) for their kit. I am not knocking the kit, I always thought a twin-supercharger kit would be a beast. I definitely don't like the Stillen kit at all. I didn't like the fact that I would have to change my Infiniti intake for an "out of place look" Stillen intake, then change my dual look for a single-sided look. I like the fact that I would still be able to keep my looks, functionality, and increase performance. Well done Top Gun. I am purchasing one - better late than never
This is very exciting! Please make a video as soon as it’s released. Knowing you I’m sure you already planned on it!! Got notifications on so I’ll see it right away.
Great information as always man! I guess I'll be waiting for the new kit! Thanks for giving such detail reviews on the Top Guns kits. Before your videos, I couldn't find any real data on them. I love that they use the stock manifold. Keep up the great work!
The supercharger kits have been sold out for months, hopefully they get some more on stock soon. What do you think about the new Z supposedly starting at $35k?
So, I picked up my car today. It made 630whp on 93 octane (similar to Vin's car) and 685 whp and 495 wtq on e85. However, that was only to be a dyno queen. Before going out the door, the timing was scaled back. It still pulls like a bull. The first time I got into it, my eyes must have looked like baseballs. They sold me an ecutek ECU connect for data logging. I've got to download an app and I'll look for any spikes for knock events. After they scaled back the timing, I'm probably in the high 500s on 93 octane and low 600s on e85. It is loud and I would prefer less flutter, but it's not a deal breaker.
I just replied to you on 370Z board. Good times! Edit: I need to buy that Bluetooth EcuTek dongle. Also... more torque lower in the RPM band means more shredded engines. You know the torque in these engines tears them apart. Low RPM and mashing the throttle is a recipe for disaster. What’s your take on this whole EPA issue? It’s the only reason I haven’t decided which way to go for boost noises.
I hope the new kit addresses the awful flutter that many ACE customers are complaining about. Personally I would of liked the silencer he has mentioned as a fix out to current ACE customers first as priority....but that's just me.
A few people seems to solve it on their own, when I get some time to experiment I want to throw in a regular air filter and find a way to kinda encapsulate it, not perfectly, just to make a firewall wanabe or add some surface to absorb a bit of the noise. Won't be perfect but is cheap to start experimenting in reducing it a little bit
@@ZeroFX32 I've spent the time and money in doing so with my tuner, Dynosty. I went from a PT50 bov to a TialQ, with a modified 2 psi spring. They got it down as quiet as possible however it's still there but much better than the PT50. Aaron states on the 370Z forum that he will provide ACE kit customers with the free silencer....but I'm guessing his priority at the moment is this new kit.
hmm, i still need ab 2k to save up… I might as well just wait for the updated smog passable kit. I’m guessing it’ll release by the end of this year 🤷🏻♂️
Hello how are you? I watched your installation and review video today of the TopGun supercharger for the 370z. However at the end of the review video , you said the one you have was no longer available but.......a newer up-to-date version is being released! Prior to your video's, I was considering the Stillen but came across a lot of disappointment from prior 370z owners of the Stillen unit on the forum, however the Soho supercharger was also mentioned but the installation and having to do a lot modifications etc.......were a major concern from 370z owner's! With all said I have a 2009 370z Touring/with Sports package fully loaded with 112000 miles. It's completely stock, with the exception of FI High Flow Cats and the Injen True Duel Full Catback Exhaust. I have not invested in a Tune for now because I'm now wanting to upgrade to Supercharger! I wanted to ask, about reliability, what modifications, and daily driving with just the stage 1 (I believe you mentioned this in the video) and basic Horsepower for just stage 1. I would really appreciate your input guidance etc......... Btw, I also wanted to say I like the way the TopGun supercharger set-up retains alot of the stock set/appearance. Please comment......I know I've typed a lot. Thank you!
Better in just about every way. With soho being as big as they are, the turn around time might be faster, but TopGuns is using a new superior head unit, can produce more boost, cheaper, and easier to install.
@@thecarizon504 Our turbo, supercharged 600 HP -800 HP SEadoos cant at 30psi. As well as boosted and supercharged cars manifolds go boom. Hence way there not plastic. Other wise we all we see plastic manifolds on any track day. Be carefull cuz it sucks going boom with plastic. Just looking out.
