Hi. Thanks for the video. I'm hestitating between these ones and MK2 Combat Boots. Of course different type of boot as the latter are much tougher. But I wonder in what temperature ranges have you tested your boots and how was the outsole in terms of being slippery on snow/ice/wet rocks etc. As for water resistance I guess Zephyrs won't allow you to stand in the shallow puddle or creek for anything longer than just crossing it? I'd appreciate any help and answers in that matter :)
@@sirdelek2629 temperature ranges, I've had them out in -10c and as long as you are moving you will be fine, but I wouldn't want to sit in the woods overnight with them at that temp. The outsole does well on slippery surfaces, the only issue I've had with that part is rock climbing / hiking up hard rock surfaces, the bottoms will get chewed up because it's a very soft outsole. And yes I wouldn't stand in a puddle, I'm sure water would eventually slip in, but crossing it and stepping into wouldn't allow water to come in.
@@sirdelek2629 I have used them for hunting once at -15c and you only have a few hours of sitting still before your feet get cold. Like I said, if your walking and moving around, they can handle colder temps because of the Gortex lining.
@@sirdelek2629 it's been 2 years since I've made this video, I've tried on and used at least 4 different pairs of boots since then... These are still my favorite by a long shot
