Ye it's faster if you don't die, gear progression is more engaging if you have to make items yourself so motivation can be higher if that is your thing too

Also SC is 100% focused on currency generation. If your focus shifts to getting to lvl 100 and you min/max XP it’s pretty quick.

Yeah you don't push for profits, prioritising survival instead on hc. People even complain that it's too easy to hit 100 and lose one incentive to grind.

you get bored because SC is like a job, you only play to earn currency and buy everything

@@ZsYr first time I died to an anchor from the act t6 boss, I had about 30 chaos res, second time it was my stupidity I went on a map missing 20 lightning res to the cap because I didn't want to sacrifice 10% cast time on my scepter and craft lightning res on it and immediately encountered rare monster with lightning mods and I died in one milisecond

First rule for any hardcore run, if you die reroll instantly level a bit then take a break. It's more motivating to come back to something than to come back to nothing.

Take it easy. I died twice already and it is still enjoyable. It is a fresh challange that you should just enjoy and expect nothing from it ;)
