The Germans were years ahead of their time developing advanced missiles and jets in WW2, but had a scarcity of resources and manpower, and, in addition, the Nazi bureaucracy failed to prioritize these 'Wonder weapons'. An excellent in-depth documentary.

Jet - engine... first invent.... Oh, no..... That was Britain..... In 1928, RAF College Cranwell cadet [10] Frank Whittle formally submitted his ideas for a turbo-jet to his superiors. In October 1929, he developed his ideas further.[11] On 16 January 1930 in England, Whittle submitted his first patent (granted in 1932).

There was nothing they could have done to win the war. They ran out of fuel and pilots.

I talked to a Luftwaffe ace who said that in 1945 he went to an airfield and was told: “You can take any plane you want, but you can’t fly them. There’s no fuel.” That says it all.

I've been a student of WWII for over 45 years now. Although there is some truth to Germany's technology, the premise of this video is simply ridiculous.

People forget. Most late WWII aircraft for example were actually designed in the beginning or just before the war started. It took years to bring most of them into a meaningful production or performance. Germany did not have the resources or production capabilities to finish what they designed. Also they were not the only ones who could design advanced weapons.

Russia had amassed the largest army that the world will ever know, while America had been at full-scale production for years without deploying a single division. The international bankers/communists had the war that they planned/started won, before needlessly killing tens of millions of Europeans.

Yes the Russians were surch Great solders they only lost 20 million men most didn't have guns you just picked up a dead guys weapon until you got killed twenty minutes later and everything of value came from the usa or hitler would have destroyed Russia while stalin hid and had a nervous break down !!😊

The Nazis whole war effort was based on competition, between companies and designers - they did not have the industrial capacity - nor the oil - to compete with the US and the British Empire! As one German tank ace once commented - we had the Tiger, good enough to beat 12 Shermans - but the Yanks always had 13 Shermans! Same with the Japanese, they put one aircraft carrier in the fleet from 1940, the US put 126!!!

In 1941, America was calling for peace with Hitler. America vetoed the call to help with 92% against joining the war - only joining once attacked itself.

Yeah, that V2 rockets were driving Britian crazy. Even affected the VE plans as well, which drove Patton crazy because he couldn't keep driving towards Germany. They just couldn't figure how to develop the Amerikka bomber, so they could attack the US.

Haven't watched this yet, but I already know it's going to be full of misinformation. Edit: Yeah. I only got a few seconds in, I'm done. Stealth bomber? The Horten 229? Do yourself a favor and give this channel a wide berth. Edit (12 days): I really hope that all the comments agreeing with me weren't removed by the channel. Though I find it weird that half a dozen people just decided to remove their comments. Though it's more likely it's just RU-vid itself and it's schizalgorithm.

The Horton 229 was tested by NASA as a stealth bomber. It really didn't even have to be considering its impressive speed and maneuverability. The Germans had many impressive weapons in the pipe line. Sorry that hurts your fragile ego but it's the absolute truth. Better you not watch this show, you might get your feelings hurt. 😆

@brealistic3542 I always catch an ear full for weeks sometimes for my elaborations . For me, there are two main topics regarding WW2 Germany. The strategic war, and the idealistic war. The two are almost separately beyond land occupation. Anything beyond those two, especially if it's other worldly, is almost irrelevant. Thanks ever much
@VikingTeddy
@VikingTeddy 21 день назад
@@brealistic3542 That's exactly why I'm not watching. It really does hurt my feelings a bit that these myths are still being propagated. NASA has never touched the Horten, and why would they? At that point it was ancient news. The testing was done by Northrop, but it didn't yield anything new that other flying wings from the past 20 years hadn't already discovered. It's one of those pervasive tales that have been debunked decades ago, along with "the invincible Tiger", or "blitzkrieg on meth" and a dozen other myths. But you don't have to take my word for it. If you ever get interested in the details it's all one search away. When you develop an interest in history you'll be surprised at the amount of misinformation in popular media, enough to get your feelings hurt.
