It doesn't have to be religious but I think there's something fascinating about stained glass and how the light reflects through it. That spiral example in the video is amazing...very ethereal and very otherwordly...it just impacts your brain that sacred spiral. a stained glass galaxy and the "As Above so below" saying...building the heavens on the earth using the shape and the glass and the light...very cool stuff!.

La Sainte Chapelle is the only one worthy of a place here IMO. Chartres, Bourges, Le Mans, Canterbury and the Matisse Rosary Chapelle in Vence shld all be in!

To leave out the original North Rose Window (survived the fire) of 1250 in Notre Dame de Paris, and all 194 original 11th and 12th century stained glass windows of Chartres Cathedral shows a non-European bias in this video. The world's finest stained glass is in about 1/2 dozen cathedrals in Europe (mainly France... Chartres, Notre Dame, Bourges, Ste. Chapelle. England... Canterbury, York. Spain... Leon.)

Lol okay well, its art so it's always going to be opinion based. Tiffany glass is way better than anything I ever saw in Italy or Ireland or France.

Way too much time wasted in dissolves and not NEARLY enough time spent on the subject matter, which is clearly taken from stills . Didn't even get halfway through .
