10:49 this is very true in general not just romantic relationships. I fully broke down when my brother confessed to my attempted murder, it was especially difficult to hear cause I was having an episode about something from my childhood that made me feel betrayed to begin with and I had come to him and my cousin to feel a bit more grounded. I was so angry, scared and confused. It took six ish months and now we talk and laugh together like we did before. The time that he said he did it makes a bit of sense and maybe I’m desensitised but a lot of people have tried to kill or threaten to kill a family member in my family *just because*, whereas my brother was a child and had about the same issues with augmented realities as I did during that time. We both went to therapy and stuff and now we’re cool again 🤙
