I actually think the entire song is good. It starts off in a calm, mesmerizing tone, as it describes the actions leading up to the tornado, which is the drizzle, and then it slowly creeps up in conflict as the tornado sirens go off and the tornado itself begins to form. After the tornado, the climax of the song, things begin to wind down again and it ends with Adam reuniting with his family. This alone makes this entire song good imo.
@@northwindy it's literally a song about being stuck in the open when a tornado is passing through. It's peaceful, then tense, then terrifying, and then it's over, just like a tornado. This one part is really good but the meaning of the song would be lost if it was just this. The calming and peaceful tone of the song at the beginning and end brings depth and a nice melody, so the full song is really good.
Thank you!!! I’m obsessed with this part of the song, glad you extended it! Also if anyone has any song recs that sound similar to this I’d be very appreciative!!!
Nice remix! I honestly would love if you mixed it up even more! I was thinking it could sound cool if you directly connected "It sounded like a freight train was dragging me to hell" with "And this was my prayer", taking out the interlude between them to change things up! I think they could fit together with the right audio transition.
The whole song iss such a story, with its own sense and conclusions, it reminds me of a whole book or movie. The tornado moment is so colorful and loud, I can almost imagine it 🥺 Perfect song
