One of three Toucan Sam cut-out records available on the back of Kellogg's Froot Loops boxes in 1983. The other records were "Toucan Sam Takes You On A Listening Safari" and "Toucan Sam At The Big Race!"
The diameter of the card-backed record is actually 6.25"
Instructions:
1. Place phonograph on manual setting at 33-1/3 rpm.
2. Wipe record with clean cloth before each use.
3. Place coin near record center if record slips.

I had this exact record as a child and listening to it almost brought me to tears (happy tears of course). Can’t believe I still remember the lyrics. 😂 Also, you touching something red as instructed made me laugh. Thanks for unlocking a happy memory! 😊

I remember these offered in the cereals. I have this and one of the others. I'll have to upload it one of these days. Nice upload. Growing up in the 80s was the best!

I was a DJ at the Illinois Wesleyan University radio station WESN between 1983 to 1985, and for some reason this song was a continual request during Fall of 1983 and Spring 1984. Going through some old copies of my shows from that time and I was baffled by how many times this was requested. Oh well, that's college radio!
