(Gilbert, Arizona) - Bryce (Heil08) introduced the town of Gilbert's refuse equipment to RU-vid years ago. Some time later on, he focused his interest to airplanes, and deleted all his garbage truck videos. The town of Gilbert still has those left hand drive Curbtender ASLs, with now right hand drive SCORPION ASLs. This is one of 5 CNG units they purchased in the 4th quarter of 2014. These are the very first natural gas side loaders in the fleet. They've also switched to this lighter blue color with gold graphics! The single with tag axle option is no more, as this is a straight dual axle unit with alcoa rims. I was fortunate to be able to meet such a professional, and extremely friendly operator, Hoss who has been with the town of Gilbert for many years. Such a cool guy, I wish more drivers were like him. For those who question the 300 gallon grippers on this unit, the town of Gilbert does have some 300s, a majority of recycling ones scattered around businesses and churches, and some elementary schools.
