Nguyen Thi Tri, 65 years old, living in Van Hoa held a picture of her son who had passed away due to cancer. She said "He was 33 years old only but died after 4 months when his cancer had been found". Her son died, her daughter-in-law went away and left a 11-year-old child with her. She told that there were many families with the same situation in the village.
The water from the well here smell foul and changes to purple when washing vegetables. Perhaps this is the reason why many people has died because of the cancer. "We hope the gorvernment will action for clean water soon so that people can use it without the anxiety ”- Tri proposed.
