In today’s world, if you publicly go out and say, you use the doubt from other people and put that into a revenge level of focus, people call you toxic. They tell you that you have problems.
I vividly remember people telling me to put down the psychology books on improving the mental self image, mental health, and stop trying to visualize because it’s all a joke. The same people that told me I wasn't good enough to accomplish this goal or I didn't have the talent to pursue that goal.
I remember the times of running at the track in the rain, waking up at 5am for before class workout sessions, or staying up late to study, I didn’t always want to do what I need to do. But it was the voices in my head quietly whispering, you don’t have it, you’re not smart enough, you’re not good enough, and it turned me into another person. A monster. That doubt fueled my pursuit and is one of the most powerful sources of motivation.
