I think initially she was trying to give her a lesson the same with TK but when Yuri interfered in her plan, it got ruined and ended badly. The part where Nanno is starting to have doubts is right but regarding the mortality that Yuri mentioned, she's absolutely bluffing, remember the Nanno clones.
Nanno did not punish the wrong person. Jenny had always been her target. The problem was that Nanno punished with such an overkill that it no longer is karmic justice, and Nanno realised that, especially after Jenny questioned her.
@@CloudLightify I don't know about that, she did stab Nanno in the throat and lie about her. Yes, Jenny couldn't back to her old life, but that was the extent of her punishment, and it was something she caused to happen herself.

Nanno's behaviour at that point of time was frightening and do you know what animals and people do when they are in a state of extreme fear? I dont remember Jenny lying about Nanno so no comment on that. On what happened to Jenny, you probably needs to rethink your statement: "Jenny lost all access to a safe home and money, and her parents (who now hates her), has now an identity that is publicly revealed to the entire country (iirc) to be a fraud and untrustworthy person, but oh that's OKAY, NOTHING TO LOOK AT!" That's the punishment for someone who's being a spoilt brat to her parents (who doesnt even know it)? Destroying their lives and even her future? And she didnt exactly brought it upon herself. You need to understand that Nanno's initial plans for Jenny went way off the track. Jenny essentially became a victim of a proxy battle between Yuri and Nanno. And if there was nothing wrong with Jenny's punishment, why did Nanno, for the first time ever in the series, NOT HAVE AN ANSWER when Jenny questioned her if she really did deserved all that?
@@CloudLightify You are probably right and Yuri's interference caused things to end badly when they would have gone more smoothly otherwise. But Nanno herself said earlier, when it was revealed that Jenny had mischaracterized her parents, that what happened to Jenny was the consequence of her own actions. It's not that she was a horrible person who deserved to be punished badly, but she chose to fake her own death and run away from her family, and when Yuri caused her to change her mind and turn on Nanno, Nanno forced her to stand by her original choices. It was a pretty bad ending for her, but maybe she'll eventually be more happy as Rosy than she was as JennyX (at the start of episode she was wishing she was dead.) Or maybe she's doomed, who knows? But when Yuri said Nanno had been harsh, Nanno told her she still had a lot to learn. As for why she answer Jenny at the end of the episode, that has to do with the next episode. Remember that she was feigning doubt and weakness in front of Yuri, because Nanno intended to fake her own death in the finale.
Jenny was punished because she betrayed Nanno and believed Yuri, so she killed Nanno and thinking that would make everything better, Nanno at first was gonna bring karma to her parents but because she did that it went to her instead
Her parents weren't even that bad though. They were just doing what they thought Jenny wanted them to do. Even if the tracker was only to protect her from stalkers, and the diet to protect her from her various allergies. They hinted at that earlier in the episode when Jenny told Nanno she had a soy milk allergy.
@@sdagoth3037 Haven't finished it yet maybe I'll regret this but From what i see They were just using her Instead of buying her what she wanted they were going to buy more veiwers which would only benefit them as they get the money and she doesn't (i think) They also don't look at the products that she is promoting and one of them gave her an allergic reaction meaning they didn't look at the product or looked but didn't care
I don't think Jenny deserved everything that happened, and I don't think Nanno thinks she deserved it either, she did all that, but she was unsure of her actions. I think that's why Yuri questioned Nanno in the end.
Yeah, im pretty sure nanno wanted to give karma to her parents but her parents said in this ep that they were doing all those things for her and giving karma to jenny does not even make sense due to the fact that she just misunderstood them. I heard a very good theory that the reason she couldn't heal was because she was doubting what she was doing and did indeed become mortal hence why she messed up who to give karma in ep 8 too but when she saved the mother and the mother betrayed her in return, it made her realize just how cruel and selfish humans are giving back her powers/immortality which is why we saw her on the roof because yuri and junko left her body unnoticed and she could have got up.

Nanno is supposed to be Karma, it arrives slowly and only to the extent that it is deserved. At the end, Nano probably started to doubt if she was too harsh and went overboard. Yuri dislikes Nanno because she is slow (your karma may take years to reach you), so she wants to cause chaos and destroy her enemies by any means necessary (killing the innocent and pure dog; that is why people theorize she is Revenge). *Karma* in the series is portrayed as *just and holy* , but *revenge* is *unbalanced and flawed* , that is why they can't come to terms.
I think the lesson this episode was really, be careful what you wish for? Yes jenny wanted a normal life, but she also wanted the fame, the money, the likes. Can’t have both 🤷♀️ but yea I feel bad for Jenny cause she was caught in the crossfire between nanno n yuri
The parents also sucked though, they didn't even care of her feeling, they just care about the money, that's why Jenny really don't want to live with them anymore, the parents could've made Jenny famous without being strict and careless, it's just too much
I think Nanno has a purpose to just exit and teach people lessons or help people, no feelings or questioning allowed. when Jenny asked her at the end of the episode "Did you have to go this far?", this question plus Yuri's ways of doing that same thing makes her doubt more about the whole point of her purpose. and her doubts started decreasing her power. for Yuri, now she just wants to defeat Nanno so she can do it her style without anyone in her way.
jenny didnt deserve that kind of punishment but yuri interfering cause nanno to went over the line. I think nanno injury didnt heal bcs she starts to have doubt on what her purpose is which is giving karma to ppl but as the season progresses she's grown to have empathy on her prey
This could have been the TK episode if it wasn't for Yuri. I made the connection that both were kids that felt neglected by their parents (they don't actually have to be neglected, but the fact that they felt that way remains). The difference between the two is that TK didn't cave-in after Nanno tests him but Jane did. I thought that if there was no Yuri factor, Nanno would have presented a different test to Jane (maybe something to do with forgiveness and understanding since TK got the one were he admits to stealing for his Dad's attention when he puts up this bravado that he steals for fun.) Just a theory tho.
I think Jenny only wanted a normal life, but also, she wanted the fame, in some way. Of course, she was an "object" for her parents, but the parents seem really worried when she was going to "kill" herself. Probably, since that fake suicide, everything went downhill for Jenny, and Nanno gave her a chance to come back....but Yuri was in the way. I think the point of the series, is, if the victim/culprit, takes the blame, even if it's harsh, (but not actual death) probably in the end, there is some retribution. Some "gift" from Nanno. Like the fake rich boy, made amends with his parents, and he seems remorseful. And, of couse, TK, who took the blame and went to juvie.
Just like what I say on prior Episode, I think because Nanno didn't know what she do is actually Right, she starting to have doubt started from episode 6. On Episode 6 she can't change the school back to colourful and instead it's stay monochrome, while on this episode she trying to help Jane to understand what their parent did but instead she go overboard and ruining her life. Next Episode will be the climax of her doubt.
I think that rather Jane was destined to be like TK, but when Yuri intervened she changed the course, and Nanno punished her. It seems that in the end he realizes that maybe Jane did not deserve something so bad
