Alright youse guys, we're toy chasing when I come to Retropalooza! Great stuff, BTW. Insane hauls in this one. I had a similar find with the Ewok Village playset. I found mine at a toy show for $5. It was missing most everything, but all I cared about was having a great display piece for my Ewoks. So well worth the $5. :-)

I was trying to figure out why the Ewok Village playset looked so familiar when I knew I never owned it and then the trivia popped up and solved that mystery. I had the dumb Sherwood Forest playset as a kid. Neat little factoid about the molds.

The Robin Hood one was actually a little better because it came with tree top foliage. I'd like to find those pieces and put them on the ewok village.

that USS flagg aircraft carrier I always thought was sweet my grandpa bought my older cousin all GI joe stuff and i remember being in awe as a kid seeing that playset all set up in the basement with all the jets and everything around it.

Really cool to see that Ewok Village playset. I got one at a garage sale back in the day (and didn't even know it was from Star Wars). I used it for my Ninja Turtles as a base. Nice find Melvor

i never had the Defiant. but I did have the 1983 Gijoe headquarters and I played with that more than any other playset. I would love to own another one. one of these days I want to get another headquarters. I have fond memories of that toy as a kid...

I think every kid liked those huge playset type things, and this episode featured three really cool ones (Ewok village, the space shuttle and the carrier/plane). I don't think I ever had a toy like that, probably the closest I came was the TMNT Technodrome (I did have a cool GI Joe tank and a plane though). Only toys I really kept from my childhood were all my pokemon stuff (cards and little figures that all fit into a shoebox) and then all my Star Wars stuff, which was figures and some micromachines playsets.

This episode literally made me happy. I dont play with toys even though I have some ninja turtles around and deadpool protects me while I sleep (since the movie came out) but toy chasing is still interesting.

It's a shame that I haven't bought ugly a dvd yet. I am such a huge fan. I really kick myself for not jumping on the first season when you guys had a more hands on approach to it with gifts and all. Keep up the work. I'm a fan of what ever direction you go in. I'll be making my first purchase this weekend also.

for both billy and jay there is going to be a con here again in oaks called retro con in spet on the 24-25 and it deals with everything form the 60s 70s 80s and there is alot of toys videogames and other cool stuff

So I just received my potf2 stormtrooper Luke in the mail and it got me thinking of this episode because, if you were to cast the helmet it came with you could recreate the ending scene of return of the Jedi with the playset and have one of the ewoks look like it's playing music with them.
