The production on this was crazy. That massive box with the Stup art on it was fantastic I kinda want one. The slow descent into madness was amazing. Some great subtle references not only in the writing, but in the video itself.

Insanely catchy song and incredible video production!

here's the thing, i watch every stupes video KNOWING it's gonna be incredible, and then SOMEHOW it still blows my expectations out of the water

No cap if they added a box of his character as an easter egg in the official game or even the Poppy Playtime spinoff multiplayer game I'd lose my mind.

This music video, essentially a fan work, has more genuine passion put into it than the devs of Poppy Playtime did with their own game.

The best and worst thing about your songs for games as a whole, as opposed to individual characters, is that you've got this insane knack for hitting the exact spirit of the game in a way even the actual games themselves often struggle to meet moment to moment. This was spectacular, dude. Damn good work.

no matter how people may feel about the game at this point, I'm impressed beyond belief and so overjoyed at this, and no one can deny the amount of love, talent, and effort that went into this project. you never cease to amaze your fans as your productions only improve and grow, stupe. now excuse me while I watch and listen on repeat for the next week

Every time i listen to this, i try to interpret it into ASL because it frankly translates really well. Then you get to "Trapped in a factory...." and my hands panic but my heart sings. This song is far better than the game itself.

The sudden unhinged "oh, so you think we're abominations?!" really caught me off guard and really illustrates one of my favorite things about your songs, where you can make a slightly unsettling but cheery backdrop, completely lose it for a second and then go back to normal as if nothing happened.

I can see why you decided to still release this despite all the problems with the game and developers as of recent. The amount of time, effort and money in just the production alone looks insane and at the end of the day it is an amazing song as well. This game is a perfect example of Stupendium's work, very catchy tunes that incorporates the vibes of the games. The lyrics incorporate the themes and even direct quotes from the games at times. The passion he puts into his acting in the videos is top tier. The visuals for his videos show he must spend hours upon hours of painstakingly crafting them and showing them off in the best way possible. No matter the game or controversy about it's creators, this song and video is just incredible and i hope to see more incredible ones from you in the future, keep up the amazing work dude. I don't know if this guy realises that this singular song that he made is better than both Poppy Playtime chapter 1 and 2. One of the things I've always loved about your songs is what aspect of the game you make the song about. Very rarely do you just take the events of the game and make a song about them, instead you choose an interesting theme from the game and make a song about that. And it always turns out incredible

What I love about the Stupendium is I don't even need to like the game. I know the song is still gonna rock my socks off. Poppy playtime is by far one of the indie games I like the least, mainly because it's just doing the same thing others have done before with little change or originality and wants to make a buck before making a game, and yet, here I am, absolutely LOVING a Poppy Playtime song

Everytime I watch this video, I cannot believe it did not win a major award. This is like the Thriller of a generation. Spectacular work. How did this not win any major awards? The skill, the song, everything is 10/10.

I haven't seen anyone talking about this, so I'm gonna praise you for it, Stupes. The End Credits scene with you shouting out the Patreons was amazing, with a voice that sounds like it could be used in a Sylvester and Tweetie Bird or Looney Toons cartoon and fit in perfectly, the amazing way to cut it off with the batteries dying after that amazing performance. Overall, this song was a 12/10, even with all of MoB Game's stuff looming over Poppy Playtime stuff

"I started work on this before [relevant controversy/issue] came to light but couldn't afford to throw away all that work" WHY CANT MORE CREATORS DO THIS?! THANK YOU! There are so many times where I see people release songs or other kinds of projects where it's VERY clear that there was a level of investment that can't just be thrown away when you're a content creator struggling to ride that line of financial volatility and audience retention, but so many just choose to ignore the tire fire around them (which both ignore the problem AND to a certain extent condones any problematic activity related) when I can say with certainty a single sentence worth of a disclaimer would mean world of a difference to more than just myself. So again, thank you for that. That said? I was never into Poppy to begin with, and this is still one of your most engrossing music videos to date. Much like the Room for Improvement and Tune Into the Madness, my other two favorites of your live action videos, the story is entirely self contained even if clearly inspired by something and it makes FULL use of every moment of screentime. I'm also either going crazy or there was some Panic! influence with the composition and either way I adore how the guitar comes in throughout the song and parallels the plush toys and dolls giving way to mangled and mechanical horrors.

1. I love how well it sounds, even on 1.25 speed. All the word play, unique melody, it’s got it all! 2. I love how this character, the one you’re playing as in the video, slowly goes mad. first verse is self explanatory with the end of it being psychotic singing. in the middle of the second he sings about wondering what other limbs can be detached, playing more dangerous games, etc etc. Third goes off the rails with most of the lyrics being unhinged, even the first lyrics of this verse shows this. And finally, the “Ready or not, we’ll find you!” At the very end. I also realized some songs have progression like this. Insanity, showing you around, story progression, etc. “A Pizza The Action” might be an example due to the robots getting more defects over time and and the singer going mad at the end, for a lack of a better word. 3. When I saw the progress behind this, it was like a studio production. Very professional. How tiring was this?

I can’t get this song out of my head for very long. I keep watching it or listening a couple times a day. I haven’t slept properly in days, the dreams are vivid and bizarre. They are scary, but threaten terror and creepiness, rather than just become nightmares. Last night one of them (I have many each night) was a lion on the edge of the sofa out of sight that grabbed onto a donut in my hand. When I realized what it was I threw the donut and felt it’s head and body glide along my forearm, pouncing after the treat. I started thinking how I was going to get out of there, then the horrible thought occurred of it getting my daughter. I woke up then. So I guess I’m trying to say. Bloody good work dude. So glad I found you and your team from pandora. Now I just need to figure out how to sleep again.

This type of content shows how much you actually care about the games you write about. This goes for all of your songs, but the absurd amount of in-jokes and references, both to the games and your own content, and the layers upon layers of clever wordplay is absolutely incredible. I continue to have no words.

Your outfit in this one is fantastic. As is your physical acting, the semi-jerky movements really added to the toy effect. I also have to mention your makeup, just wonderful, very much sells the doll eyes. I could be wrong, but it looks like you used white liner on your lower waterline and then black along your lash line to give the appearance a wider eye? It's something that I've actually done before for cosplay.

I like how MOB Games not only allowed the Stupendium to be a part of their lore, they allowed his/their Huggy to come along, how nice! 😊

This whole video is a masterpiece (as are all Stupendium videos because they are incapable of making anything other than the absolute best songs), but the whole section between 2:37 and 2:45 has to be my favorite part. It’s simultaneously so unsettling and so fun.

I'm gonna need a behind the scenes for this one, the production quality is absolutely astounding! It's hard to believe you work mostly solo with stuff like this! Just looking at one shot from this song immediately tells how much effort went into making this masterpiece - the master-crafted set-piece, props, and costumes are some of the best I've ever seen on RU-vid, and all went perfectly together, and the rap itself perfectly captures the darker side of toys, possibly even better than the original game! (with the little nod to everyone hi-fiving Huggy) Thank you so much for this beauty of a rap and for releasing it even with all the controversy regarding Poppy Playtime!

Stu's musical toy soldier should totally be the basis for a potential main antagonist in Poppy Playtime. His character would drowsily bemoan the state of the factory and the toys only to sing merrily about all the horrible ways they will kill the player character once he gets caught. Heck, the devs should even ask him to do the voice acting and singing if they want to make that chapter truly memorable.

Everybody talks about the production, the amazing set, the absolute beauty that is the lyrics, but can we appreciate the instrumental for a second? It perfectly captures this horror-toy theme with the toy instruments used alongside the electric guitar. It reminds me of the theme for Child’s Play 2019 in the absolute best way possible. The stupendium as an artist and as a person will endlessly impress and astound me.

Seeing how the 'stache is styled with each individual song is most definitely a treat.

It really is one hit after another with this guy, it’s astonishing how much pure gold he can make from just about anything, the song was incredible, the visuals were absolutely stunning, and the creativity was off the charts. If I could I would get the lyrics tattooed on my leg.

One of the most brilliant things about the internet is the fact that it allowed AMAZINGLY talented people like Stupendium, Tom MacDonald, Leo (from Frog Leap Studious) to almost entirely bypass corporate strangle hold on music publication. Truly Democratizing art and music. God Speed you weird wonderful human. Any single Stupendium song is better written and performed than anything by Lizzo, Billie Eilish, and all the rest of the pop-puppets.

I still can't get over how absolutely amazing your songs are. And the effort you put into the music videos are impeccable. It's so indescribably amazing and watching one of your songs is like a journey!

The visuals are just astonishing for this one. The colours, the visual effects and 'real life' SFX along with the visual animation, the advert... Everything. Stupes has absolutely outdone himself.

I love how both the "wind it up" and the "crawling out the toybox" lines are formatted like a chorus, and the end bit has audio from both. it adds to the sort of chaotic feel of the song!

after revisiting this post chapter 3 it kinda puts a deeper meaning to this song considering the horror the hour of joy presented it is heavily implied not just the victims the bigger bodies initiative had their fun, but ALL the toys of all sizes we saw smiling critters swarm one employee, who says that the other brands didn't do the same not to mention we even saw something like this in chapter 2 with the mini huggies. also after a year this is still one of stupendiums biggest bangers

I genuinely have no idea why it took me so long to get into your content, but wow am I blown away every time I decide to watch something you've made. And yeah, I can talk about your amazing voice and lyrics and stacks upon stacks of rhymes that tickle my brain just right to I re-listened to them so many times BUT. As an artist, I just gotta say that your every video is a visual masterpiece. Every shot is so stunning, the sets, the costumes, the color choices, the combination of real life footage and animation. I'm in love with how you mix realistic and cartoonish parts together, it always gives such a surreal feeling to all of your works, in the best way possible. I watched the video breakdowns for The Fine Print and this song, and I know that people do make storyboards for movies in general, but I adore how you treat it as more of a cartoon where you can go crazy with ideas (because you truly can). Your artstyle and animation are absolutely gorgeous too, I cannot stress this enough. If I had infinite money, I'd like to give whatever amount you need to you and just watch what you can come up with. Alas, I only can say some stuff in the youtube comments, but I hope it does at least show that your work means a lot to someone. Could only wish more people took this approach when it comes to art, because I can just feel how much love and thought and work is put into what you do. The stupendium is the type of guy to not give up on his performance until the very end of a video, the man stays in character even after the songs done, and it shows their commitment to their work

You truly never fail to impress, Stupes. A bop as usual, and the effort that went into all the little details in this video can only be guessed, but it makes sense why this took so long to make. The character you came up with to play for this one is also particularly cool with just the right amount of creepiness (Really liked the severed head bit, to name just one thing). I also really appreciate the disclaimer in the description - totally understandable why you wouldn't want to abandon something this far into it and it was worth it if I do say so myself! Also it's not like the developers of Poppy Playtime are earning any money from you making this song, just maybe getting some attention, which is an acceptable sacrifice in my opinion. I feel like this is one of these times where you can and should be able to separate the creation from the creator. Overall this definitely made for a very cool and well-rounded project, keep it up!

I might be isolated in this thought, but for some reason my favorite part was that small bit of animation where you actually gave huggy a personable reaction to being hit in the face. Just completely over it. I couldn’t explain why, but I’ve always had a soft spot for taking seemingly mindless killing machines and giving them relatable reactions to things
