Too much past hurricanes for force thirteen to make as a animated track is nerve racking and stressful from the tremendous edits of movement and details, he can’t do every single past hurricane only historical hurricanes that changed the American coasts
Typhoon Vera was the worst and first intense Japanese typhoon on earth, Japan was almost about to be extinct from the category 5 monster but never ended up 500,000 deaths unlike the bhola cyclone, but what happens if the next Vera happens in the future? A category 5 typhoon to directly hit Japan is overdue, takes about 80 years for one
Typhoon Mike is so big! it looks like tip because when tip came like the wind field of it just came so big and the screen isnt that big so the wind field goes until the top of the screen even the bottom.
Simmilar. In terms of Intensity it is, in terms of death toll and area affected, that title goes to Thelma/Uring which killed around 6,000-10,000 people and affected Leyte
If you’re going off f13 estimates, Mike is stronger, Haiyan imo has a good chance of tying or beating mikes winds, but Mike definitely had lower pressure, and a much tinier eye (probably second smallest after Wilma). Haiyan was in an area of high background pressures and didn’t hold peak intensity for as long, and the lowest estimate I’ve seen (besides the bs 858 mb prediction) is 879 mb, I think 880’s
UNPREDiCTABLE They need to do a reanalysis then. Mike had a nearly perfect structure, pinhole eye, and one of the best environmental conditions. While Haiyan had a great structure, it had a large eye, anticyclone overhead, and high background sea pressures which probably stopped it from intensifying further. Also, during Haiyan’s peak intensity there were signs of an EWRC.
