traders always close at 10 minutes before night time AKA 22:00 or 10 PM, you knew that and now you have to deal side effects lol, BTW don't throw cloth away, if your going to make glue all time with bones, and 7 cloth = tapes

That library is a really cool POI, I'm glad it's there. I agree, I like the ore bits on display, the layout is really nice, lots of natural light for reading. Of course most of the bookshelves would be picked over by 'now,' or by zombies randomly tearing at stuff the way they sometimes do, but it's really neat. Cities need libraries!

I picked up a quad pocket MOD as a reward for doing the game challenges. Also "Jim & Tim's Bullets and Booze" maybe my new favorite early game POI, and I'm sure the loot levels so it's a must do quest for all things coffee and frothy.

You should do a farmer woodle series! Anyone else noticed that the frame rates in the unstable test branch is worse then they were in alpha 21? when i drive through a town (outside of the Forest biome) my Frames drop below 30 :P Hopefully they refine those optimizations some more :P

@JaWoodle Some game info- Legendary parts have a good drop rate in cloths stores for example Savage country Racks - You can put multiple Pockets on the same armor. Extra fun info, I hope you find the asgard POI

the ore nodes in the library were a nice touch i think the only thing that would have made it better is if it was the nodes from A1 as sort of a nod to 7 days roots

Yeah Josh, others may disagree with me here, but I'm at day 37 on all stock standard settings, and it's TOUGH. You have 1 more horde night and then things seem to ramp up considerably. Again, maybe just the world I've got, but I'm very surprised how much different it is. Loving it mind you, but you might want to rethink upping the difficulty every horde until you get a taste of it!

I feel like the opposite for me. Horde nights haven't really been a challenge this game. The first 1 or 2 blood moons they broke a couple of blocks, but no major damage or me feeling like I was in danger. I do have Khaine's improved horde mod, so wandering hordes are probably my biggest challenge. They come every ~6-12 hours and always seem to hit when I'm in a POI. Also, some of the new POIs are exceedingly tough, like Grover High

One time i crashed my gyro into bob’s radio tower in his old compound and it got stuck with the wheel. I had to build a giant tower outside and use megacrush to sprint and jump in order to land on it from way above in order to pick it up again. Took an entire in game day

About the loot bonuses from skill points, they automatically stop working if you have found all the relevant books. So if you're worried you're gonna keep getting many armour books after you're done it doesn't happen, so you don't need to repec just for that.

The new super springy jumps for parkour are almost as dangerous as they are life-saving. I almost died trying to escape a room by hopping through an open window that was one block up and I just kept hitting the top of the window and bouncing back. That needs to be fixed - maybe just tapping space to normal jump and holding space to engage the parkour jump heights.

I used the same house as a base in the winter biome but deleted the false platform floor giving me more room in height to put the workstations and reinforced the floor from pillars below because that area is weak. The poi is Old Victorian Home #3.

I’m busy sulking in my game. I set it at 14 days so I get a chunky horde night and the day before it started, I passed out and presumably a screamer came and destroyed my furnace and killed me, costing me about 5 hours of smelting. I dunno how the hell im going to do the night now, without my base being destroyed!

Cigar and strength mod and you can get packmule maxed out with just 3 points into strength. Honestly the backpack systems needs to be completely revamped.

gonna give ya a heads up about loot tables in 1.0 anything with clothes are 4 and 4 only cloth, leather, armor parts.. and slight chance of legendary parts unless ya got the full book set that lets ya loot more legendary parts... best bet for those legendary parts are clothes containers

If you hit a POI with lots of clothes containers you'll get a few legendary parts. But in general the best container I've seen for legendary parts is the Duffle Bag. Not sure why but they seems to have an exceptionally good chance of dropping legendary parts. Not that it happens often. Just more frequently than other containers.

Now, I haven't played 1.0 yet. So I might be wrong. But from what I could see with pockets you can get up to 4 extra slots per armor piece now? And with 5 pieces that would give you a total of 20 extra slots. You need more than that to enable all slots. So either you need to find another way to get some extra slots or you will need pack mule anyway. I assume one or two of the armor pieces have built in pockets.

Some armour has up to 10 pockets on them and you can put multiple pocket mods on any piece of armour now as long as they aren’t the same. Example would be a level 4 and 3 pocket mod so you can carry an extra 7 spots.

you might not need pocket mods if your end goal is staying in the wasteland, the fireman's almanac complete bonus is never encumbered in the burnt forest and wasteland now so no need for pocket mods once there. RNG is crazy since 1.0 released, in my current int build walkthrough I found 2 double and 1 triple pocket mods from end chests in t1 poi's before I could even craft t4 primitive gear.
