"re-orient the hungers in your life that you have chosen back to the Divine through loving and mindful attention to Dharma". Right on, brother Adam. I deeply appreciate the juxtaposition of evolutionary astrology and traditional astrology. Thank you for this deep look into the meaning of the Nodes.

Acyuta you have a way of explaining things that make so much sense. I've heard the other explanations of increase/decrease but for the first time something clicked. Thank you so much ❤

Thank you so much Adam for your rich explanation of the original meaning of eclipses and nodes. I always felt the modern ones were sham good bad do this not that blabla. But before this video I hadnt found a true interpretation of those wonderful wise spiritual hindu myths.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate this take on the NODES! Makes a lot more sense to me and has helped me reconcile with my meditation practice and interest in Buddhism ! It also helps me understand my own Nodes (N in House 5 in Virgo and S in House 11 in Pisces).

So glad I listened to this. I have Chiron conjunct my south node so I have felt this ...for lack of a better term...drudgery around trying to “fix” it, which is overwhelming. Also my north node is in libra in my 12th house and have been feeling pressure that I “should” want Libran things in order to succeed in life. It’s giving me anxiety because I thought maybe I don’t know myself or something because idk...I don’t necessarily feel like I want Libran things (my sun in Taurus so I understand Venus)...blah blah blah

Thank you so much for this well thought out and explained breakdown on Rahu and Ketu. You have given quite a lot for me to meditate on as I work to become more balanced.

I have North moon node in 9th in Aries, travel around the U.S. made all the difference to the closed-mind deprivation of isolated farm-house upbringing. 3 degree orb of square with Uranus in 12th. My attempts at higher education were severely interfered with by accident/brain trauma. Meditation and an epic dream showed me following up up up and down down down lifetime after lifetime, becoming more and more determined to get off the bus. This time headed up (again), long story short, I was off the bus, walked right off the road, to a space of a future rest stop for others to get off the bus. Does this fit, do you think? The education I did get did enrich my life tremendously, but I'm constantly aware that if I had the money/status that I'd have if not for the brain trauma, I wouldn't be able to make that 90 degree turn away from it all. Intellect, chemistry, data, it's intoxicating. But all of that joy, I'm lucky enough to know, is fully included in complete, unexcelled awakening.

I also have Taurus rising but in the late degree (25). I have Leo north node but in the 3rd house. The eclipse last August was in my 4th house. My father passed away 4 days before the eclipse in August. This brought on some powerful emotions that I am just now deciphering. Thanks for the informative video.

Very interesting that you highlight the attitude we have toward the NN. We can either go at it as an ego drive, or go at it as a spiritual practice. Big difference, and significant! It's still our dharma either way, but it's all about the 'why'.

The most ‘woke’ take on the Nodes - your treatment on this topic was enlightening. The Nodes are one of the most nebulous and poorly understood topics in astrology - the rich tradition of the Nodes is often overlooked. The nature of the dystopian reality of the current moment illuminates these misconceptions. The South Node as a virtuous place, of qualities like humility and resilience, is a breath of fresh air. The very nature of the North Node is that of Jupiter. It seems ...poignant that the nodes will shift into Sagittarius (South) and Gemini (North) in the first few days of May. I have a few ideas about how this might come to bear, but would love to hear your take. One final thought - the nature of capitalism is ‘expansion at all costs,’ increasingly to the detriment of the individual and the collective (vis a vis labor exploitation, corporate greed, resource depletion, reckless behavior) has undoubtedly contributed to the modern understanding of the Nodes. Wealth, power, status - the fruits of one’s commitment to hard labor - understood as the ‘American Dream’ trope for generations. It is extremely plausible that the Western World has totally misunderstood and misinterpreted the symbolism and tradition of the Nodes. One of the best videos I’ve encountered on your channel - and I’ve spent a lot of time here. Thank you for your dedication to fleshing out the details of the darker, dustier corners of study in astrology. As a Virgo rising, your exhaustive treatment of all topics you touch is admirable. You’re a joy to watch - thanks again for your wealth of incredible & informative content.

We should add that the ancients considered CHANGE malefic. (While we don’t because our world is largely in the shits AND because we believe in manifest destiny which is basically: take your betterment into your own hands and make things change.) Therefore the cycle of the nodes beyond being karmic show a change that wouldn’t have been desirable for the ancients. And in that sense, because we are no longer born into a “socialsystem which works fine”, because we are now born in a post-modern relativist subjective society we embrace change differently and need the nodes to echo that for us. In modernity to not embrace change would be a sign of an archaic and stubborn soul. (Or an entitled WASP male one. Already born to a system that works for them and is created by them while it abuses nature and non male WASP). So we can and should embrace the idea of change as necessary for the nodes. An idea that takes the traditional view and brings it into what we are living now as fellow humans. The ancients were once revolutionaries. It’s alright to bring a certain degree of modernity and revolution into their teachings. It’s only natural. Thanks for a great video Acytua. Dunno why I am watching all your 2 year old videos. It’s great ☺️☺️☺️🙏🏼!

So i saw my ex with Parkinson's through deep brain implant surgery, which consists of 2 nodes, and a battery implant and monitor.. knowing him almost killed me, as enslavement at my own expense. This i found out has been going on since the menkaure statues in ancient Egypt. A woman holding him up, and a woman with horns and not a solar disk, a cowbird egg. Brood parasite and slavery. The nodes i have been suspect of correlation with the DBS, how else would i be tethered to lifetime after lifetime of caregiver enslavement that results in ,,, watch a short documentary on cowbirds and what happens to the host.
