Cod Ghosts was absolutely hated upon its release. I mean It was really criticized. And it wasn't like when a halo game sucks and all the die-hard halo fans cope and try to say it was an amazing game. This is call of duty. And the fanbase didn't care enough to cope. But why?
Wets just sayyyyyy people still had mixed feelings about the recent cod titles. And the mass populus of stinky gamers rotting to death in their moms basement take this whole Call of Duty thing seriously. So before the release of ghosts it was really time for Infinity Ward to strap in and make an amazing call of duty. Things looked promising too. Ultra high rez dog model. Beautiful graphics. And its story is by an academy award winning writer? Wowzers This game is gonna be great!

I love Ghost, it felt really fresh with the extinction mode although it was absolute bullshit to get through it was really fun

Don't know why people make such a big deal of the stab in Homecoming. You can clearly see only the tip of the knife went through, plus Logan got immediatly rescued and possibly treated. The Atlas Falls mission was supposed to act as a distraction as the Ghosts moved to Brazil to find out the Federation was building a second ODIN. And to remove the cliffhanger ending, I see the whole "Rorke is alive" sequence as just a bad dream Logan had after the mission.

I know the game enough that it has flaws, but it's still my favorite game. Extinction was what we needed besides zombies. It still keeps the survival aspect but with a spin. The game just needs a remaster to fix the graphics.

The thing about bullpups in space isn’t totally accurate. Guns still benefit from a higher velocity in a vacuum more for power than range though. The whole point of shooting something is to transfer energy to it. Higher velocity transfers more energy. Schizophrenic rambling over

Seems like the next years cod is either mw4 or likely a different cod altogether I hope and prey its ghosts 2 or something other than MW4 since after the disaster that was MW3; I’d rather them set that series aside to fully plan and fixed the shit we got for MW3 in MW4 so that they could at least redeem themselves from that.

Yeah Ghosts will never be cod-cycled for me. That game was ass then and it’s still ass now. Didn’t like the campaign or multiplayer. Extinction was novel but severely lacks the fun zombies has. Nothing enjoyable about it in my opinion, Vangaurd tier bad to me.

People talk shit on this game yet still play the games that have come out for the past 6 or so years. COD fans are just as much to blame as Activision. I vividly remember being 13 and being BLOWN AWAY at my friends house seeing the new perk system and new guns. The game was awesome, had bigger/slower maps sure but was still FUN. Unlike the titles can say anymore

One of the best campaigns, but the worst multiplayer at the time, I went back to play it recently, had a blast, so much better than the newer cod’s. Also unfortunately it followed the best call of duty MP of all time… it was always going to be impossible to follow black ops 2.
