Daxos of Meletis was perhaps the most powerful oracle in the history of Theros. He was a secondary protagonist throughout the Theros story and developed a relationship with the Planewalker Elspeth Tirel. Today we explore his rise to fame, abrupt end, and blessed rebirth as we learn of the tragic story of Daxos of Meletis.

I feel like he's going to be freed from some event and he will become a planeswalker for some later set, he's already demonstrated a strong will and has gone through more than most mortals could ever fathom on his plane

It'd be cool to see him as a walker. He's been through a lot of trauma already, I'd hate to see the horror that would ignite his spark

@@TheLorebrarians Probably would have to be an event relating to Elspeth, the Phyrexian storyline seems to be going somewhere with Vorinclex soon so that could be part of it too

Daxos was the commander for my first ever deck (it was a bad deck, daxos of meletis kind of sucks). Because of that I have a soft spot for daxos, he's a cool guy and his lore is fairly interesting.
