You have to keep in mind the changing of anime as well though. Back then there wasn’t new anime’s popping up left and right with new studios and series. The demand wasn’t like it is now. Most anime of the 2010s had a 24 ep regular season. They had time to flesh the show out bc the studio only had 1 or 2 anime’s to focus on. Now you rarely see a 24ep season it’s mostly 12ep bc the studio is working on 4-5 projects at a time. The demand in anime is high which means the quality is going to go down to meet the demand that’s just how it works
Also i wouldn’t say this generation is dying. You have to keep in mind the nostalgia factor. You’re older now so your view on shows is different now than it was 10 years ago. If demon slayer were to come out 10 years ago and akame ga kill came out today I’m pretty sure you would say akame ga kill is trash bc in reality the ending of that show wasn’t all that good either. Kids of this generation is gonna say this was the golden era of anime as they get older bc their out look on shows is going to change as they get older. That’s why we have the cliché quote “the good old days”
I really hope Black Clover doesn't fumble the ending, Tabata has plenty of time and amazing Build up with Lucius. His defeat better be crazy satisfying.
Really don't think these more well recognized anime of the generation were very good in general. My hero and Demon Slayer specifically, they just couldn't keep up narratively with what had been made and was constantly coming out next to them. The only reason demon slayer was popular to begin with was the incredible animation which I agree is worth praise but it was not content that deserved the amount of attention it received. Sadly the most popular western anime to date ie. my hero and demon slayer were some of the worst top anime we've ever seen imo.
Objectively wrong and ignores any and all facts and logic. Try removing your own bias. Also you've only proven with this comment that you are one of the fans that only cares about cool fights, 'aura' and pretty lights instead of a proper narrative.
@@natalimoina you've gotta be kidding me? I literally don't like demon slayer because its all pretty lights and fighting shut up lmfao I hold storytelling above all which is why I specifically said NARRATIVELY they couldn't keep up. OBJECTIVELY Demon Slayer Manga wasn't very popular until the anime dropped, trust me I know what I'm talking about this is my living. Maybe you should check your own biases? Maybe your head while you're at it you seem a bit deluded
The real tragedy is anime fans reading comprehension being incomprehensibly terrible. To an embarassing degree. Y'all should reflect and think deeply and on your own instead of listening to gooners online and stating blatantly incorrect statements contradicted by even surface level reading.
