The Tragic fate of Mia's Integra 

Mia's Integra was super clean before the movie, holy crap! Old school Volk GTP's?

It’d be cool to have her in for an interview about her experience being apart of the movie and car culture of that era.

This series of “ where are they now?” For all of the original movie’s vehicles is excellent.

These cars are like people, each one has its own story, beautiful or tragic.

I remember reading about a replica of the Integra being Jordana Brewster's wedding car back in late 2022. That must have been awesome for her.

Oh my. I was on top of the hill watching this Integra @ night while a saw a Movie being filmed. It's right after Paul has Dinner with Mia. I saw a guy in black T shirt and blond hair sitting in the passenger side. I couldn't see the driver. I didn't know who Paul Walker was @ this time. This took place during the summer of 2000 which during this summer my friends and I were going to street races. Best of memories.

Id would like to see a video on finding the 3 black Honda Civics used in the truck heist.

The following situation probably varies from country to country, but up until about 2014, every time the first movie was run on television in my country- the post-date scene where Mia drives the integra was completely cut out of the movie in order to trim the broadcast running to a schedule (along with a few nano-sized scene trims- and one particular network had the running rights and thus always ran the same edit), so again varying by country, this car may possibly have only become more known since around that time unless you had the DVD or remembered it from seeing it at the cinema. Which might help explain why no one has attempted replica/recreations as few people would recognize it. It's also funny regarding the rocket&trail styled decals as they weren't an accurate depiction of the designs people would put on their cars, but given it's a movie, it works because it was artfully depicting some of the 'speed based essence' of what the import and street racing culture was about. Kind of like how sword and sandal movies/series often show regular soldiers decked out in very ornate and well-made-looking armor, even though such an expense was never afforded for regular soldiers in those times, but you can respect the artistic license.

I love these videos! 00's was such a great time being into cars! 3:10 FYI There was never a lavendar color option on the 1st Gen CL. I am trying to think of a lavendar Honda color. Now im curious which color her car was. Lol

Craig, you haven't done a video on selecting background vehicles for Tokyo Drift ? The talent of vehicles in that movie was next level. Were you involved ? With exception to the VW Sharan, was there a different brief for vehicle selection for Tokyo Drift ?? BTW, Tokyo Drift is the best of the series. 🙂

Poor Integra... I suppose we could say it's no longer in one integral piece nowadays. Beautiful build in that dark blue.

I'd like to see a video about Morimotos 350z from Tokyo Drift. It's a bit strange how it didn't feature that much but made the DVD cover.

It is crazy to see THIS car get such "hindsight attention" now but was given so little attention back then. And then to THINK - WHY in the world would they not duplicate the build on another vehicle - at least 1 more when the build was so easy and simple... Practically NO engine mods that a high school student couldn't install - nothing crazy installed on the car or the interior - it would have been so easy to make another one. And given its interaction within the movie I don't see why they didn't just make one more. So cool to hear about the history... just sad it was the only 1 and crashed.

I’m never a fan of body kits but that Zeal kit looked really attractive and restrained! I like both the dark blue the owner had the car painted, and the (looks like) BMW Laguna Seca Blue painted for the film.

I still love that white Honda delsol with the 99 civic front end conversion, feels style front bumper, racing hart c2 rims… on the first race scene..

Make a video about the characteristics of Nitrous oxide or... cars that have been fitted with kits and how they react to it when the button is pressed, I have a friend who keeps saying to me "Oh you cant release the nitrous like they do in the movies otherwise the engine would just suffer damage or possibly blow up" but I keep saying to them all it is, is just an artificial way to add more oxygen to the engine on demand for more power, and then I hear a lot of conflicting information about will it make a car go a faster top speed wise or just affect its acceleration. Ive also seen a wikipedia page talking about Nitrous oxide with one subject on the page talking about how it can negatively affect the lifespan of the engine with one notable image that I saw being the piston heads showing signs of rapid oxidation. Would be interesting to see a video from you Craig talking about it.

All these years thought Mia drove Honda Civic. Heist cars were Honda Civics just lowered. Craig so happy you pick cars for the "fast and furious" Movies. I am huge mopar fan so Dom's Dodge Charger was icing on cake so to speak.

exactly why i will forever stand against that “bUt cArS aRE meAnT tO bE DRivEn” argument for people who keep their cars in good condition in a garage. drive it when it means something sure but dont ever daily your car if its special/sentimental to you of just crazy exotic. unless you got the money to replace it easy

I moved from California to Michigan in 1995. Brought my lowered 89' CRX-Si and 94' Civic Coupe. I never street raced back in L.A. but went to a bunch. I told my coworker most of the fastest cars looked normal or busted to draw people in to race them. Cars with expensive paint and bodywork were for just cruising and I never once saw a car with a robot on the side😂

In the movie, when Mia is accelerating away after the spin, we get some wicked sounding B-series VTEC engine induction noise and VTEC. I always thought Mia’s Integra was a GS-R because of that. Whoever put the engine sounds in the film did a good job there getting a VTEC engine. No way that was from the B18B! Maybe the owner had a B18C1 swap.

In 2001 those decals werent frowned upon... i was driving back then and getting into the import scene. We were putting freaking supra headlights and taillights on freaking civics... huge wings and body kits, painted interiors etc... a few robot stickers werent childish back then....

I would like if you could talk a bit about the highest Honda Civics they used to hijack the DVD trucks how does those cars come about and was it based on something true events add just want to say I love the story to tell me about the cars the details you put in and I will definitely try and put your show over on various social platforms keep up the good work

This was hands down my favorite car in all of the movies.

Unibody right, as that would mean the structural integrity of the thing would have been shot from the impact, like I hope she built another one, as honestly even as a muscle car guy, that was a pretty clean build actually.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's not a Type R front, that's the JDM Front. The Type R had the same headlights like a regular Integra.

Mia's Integra was one of the nicest cars, which had a minimal tuning. Just decals, and painting.

Craig, did you ever notice in what I believe was F6, when Mia lives at the house alone, there is a dark blue Integra sitting in the driveway that looks eerily similar to the way the original owner had it set up? With her being the only one living there at the time and Dom on the run, do you think someone in production may have had that placed there in reference to the original Integra?

Somebody get this video to Dom Dub. He’s recreated several replicas of the cars. This one would truly be something to see brought back to life!

Always pains me that people give the squad graphics negativity. im bias to stuff like that but its way better than excessive chrome, Yellow accented Red cars and 'Pilot' accessories blast in my opinion.

That was a complete Zeal front bumper made for the JDM front end. Not a lip of any kind...Sadly the replica they built for the girl who played Mia has an oem JDM front bumper and lacks the Zeal bumper. Also I don't know why that silver Integra is in there as the actual car when he clearly states the car was originally white and the owner painted it dark blue. The production company painted it light blue and when she got it back she painted it back to the dark blue and wrecked it. So when was it ever silver?

Last video I commented about this car I’m sad about its fate if I were to own one of these vehicles I would keep things intact just upgrade certain things but yea you do make a point on them being on the road it’s a high risk for the car getting hit. Fast 1 & 2 will always be better then the new ones I stayed because the buster😢 Rip Paul walker 🙏🏽

The scale models of Mias Integra are 2 door, while the actual car is a 4 door. They also do not have the right bumpers

Correct me, the TSX replaced the Integra 4 doors? The first-gen TSX feels like a upgrade.

@Craig Lieberman Do you own any diecast cars from the first two F&F movies? Hot Wheels and Jada both have made replicas of most of the cars seen on screen.

bullshit the cars should have decals like that. being loud boastful and colourful like bosozoku style. wish all the cars were kept like that. doms rx7, mias, brians supra, the skylines. hans rx7. dks 350 z. they all were a work of art. to take them apart again id absolutely insane. you cant make the car look any cooler than what the movies made them. why tuners for car shows wanted them to look more plain is ridiculous. these movies were before pimp mynride tv show though i guess

I've been trying to figure out for years, what was the car that Sean drove in Tokyo Drift... It was the very last scene with Vin Diesel's cameo. All I know is that it was a black 4 door, with rwd because of the burnout. I'm thinking it was a Lexus but I've never seen anyone talk about it. Would love to find out after all these years
