Lovesick is my special series. I wish the entire cast success and happiness. I’m so disappointed that woman intentionally damaged Captain’s career for pure selfishness. I didn’t know about the racism or other prejudices. They are actors that regret being perceived as gay men so they overreact in a shameful way to cope with their own discomfort. You are only young once and I hope that they genuinely learn from their experience. LOVE to All Thai BL pioneers🇹🇭

Wow 🤯! The captain story seems to be the “norm” instead of the exception when you think about the stories of other BL actors and their girlfriends….Build from BOC, Toey from Domundi, and now Puwin from GMMTV.

Sad, because I truly loved the show

Lovesick is a stand-alone classic and is the soundtrack from the series. When you're in NYC and in the afternoon you walk in a cafe and the soundtrack is playing it is hard not to feel emotional. Grateful for Cptain I always loved him. I hope he can find someone who treats him right.

Saw a later video that there was a "fallout" between Mike and Top as Mike's GF (at the time) was very Homophobic and aggrssively stated condescendingly hateful statements about the company in general and the other BL Actors who worked there. Right after that, Mike and Crist started in a BL Series that didn't do very well. I liked Top's acting ability. Mike is an okay actor too......but just "ok". I honestly can't remember him acting in a strong supporting lead role.

I was blown away by lovesick. Never in my life had I seen a show with multiple same sex couples. Was truly impressed. One of my all time favourites.

This is so sad, this was my first thai bl and i still love and miss this show so much.

I’d say they’re lack of success isnt due to lukewarm controversies. But rather to the very point that you made in the video, it was a decade ago. They were there at the very beginning. Since then the BL industry is a much different place. Not to mention the BL explosion came many years after their debut. So by simply being in BL they were type casted and black listed from many non BL roles. Its something that still happens to this day. With all of them nearing 30 or older there just isnt much room for them in the very young and fit industry that it has become. Much like Kpop. They are all great actors and im sure as more production companies create BL stories and the industry stops being overly dominated by GMMTV their lights will get the chance to shine. That and older male stories being told. Frankly Highschool/ College engineer/med student stories are getting boring. Of course that just my opinion since I was there 10 years ago for Love Sick’s debut and even before that. So my interest in whats squeal worthy has shifted.

Ive lost count of how many times I rewatched Lovesick. So it’s like those actors never disappeared from my screen. I knew about the demise of a few but with this video putting it side by side, Im shocked. Poor Captain. Hopefully he found some major role and restore/cement his place in the industry.

Lovesick is my first BL series I have watched.. it is 10 years now since it's released.. I remember waiting anxiously for 2nd session and after that for some new series of same lead captain and white but it didn't happen except for some supporting roles .. this series hold special place in my life.. it helped me to distract from sad things in life and made me happy and smile.. but it feels bad to know about the casts situation.

Because these BL actors. Like many now. Are not gay. They took the role to boost their careers. White was just a supporter actor in this last latest series that just finished. He was also the second couple with Earth in theory of love. But they had no chemistry and never shared a kiss. Just a hug. Earth next partner was in 1000 stars. Right before BL started to become popular. Many of the BL actors at the time. In interviews and lives. They Would say they are not gay. They prefer woman. It’s just a paycheque. Fan service was not as bad as it is now so they had free range to just talk. When BL became very popular. A lot of these old clips was suddenly removed from the internet. I still however saw one of Perth old interviews videos when he did Love By Chance. He was asked if he prefers men or woman. He said he prefers woman. After Love By Chance. He did say he was not going to do anymore BL’s. Just finish the contracts ones he already signed. However. Two years ago. He dropped his company and went with GMMTV and have a new partner Chimmon. As BL became famous. The fan service increased and the more they censored their actors. I was watching BL’s before it became popular. A lot of these actors were saying and doing a lot of it have been removed off Soical media. And naive people thinks all these BL actors are gay and are with their on screen partners.

Lovesick was my first BL, I can’t believe it has been ten years! But I remember being enchanted by the story more than the actors. I watched it a dozen times at least! If I’m honest I think White was never really a great actor. Whilst Captain had terrible luck being involved a crazy person. At the moment I feel BL and gmmtv is really stagnate, it’s been ages since I’ve found myself riveted to a story. But I think that should just encourage the whole community to be creative!

I am sorry, but you need to learn what the word tragic means in English. This cast hasnt had a tragic fate at all. You are also completely ignoring the cast members who have found success in other things and you are also assuming they all wanted to act. Actord from Love Sick who are still successful and popular: August (despite the gossip talked about here, which is IMO just total fan speculation), Sing, Samantha, Gameplay (his career has faded a bit), Mean, and the directors Cheewin (Playboyy, Why R U, and New (We Are, UWMA, LBC). This also ignores the fact that most actors in Thai BL do a few series and then fade out. With the exception of Ohm, Singto and Gun/Off, most of them do a few BLs and leave to do other things. Actually, I would argue that the Love Sick cast is the most successful and that Love Sick has had the most enduring and lasting effect in BL of any series.

Some fans take it too far. Krist from SOTUS got a big backlash and got branded homophobic when he yelled on IG to stop calling him gay, and that he is not gay and that he is straight. The fans had disrespected his heterosexuality. No sexuality should be abused. They started calling him homophobic cause he yelled. Anyone would yell and even punch ppl if they kept calling a straight man gay or a gay man straight. It's like the BL industry thinks only the pain of LGBT ppl is valid?? Only their gender and sexuality should be protected? There is a common trope in bl where women are always portrayed as villians trying to come in between a gay love. In reality not a single woman will go after a known gay man. Straight women date straight men. Marry straight men. They even wrote notes saying to call them for dowry to propose to Singto. It's mad behavior. If someone's sexuality is insulted, their anger is perfectly justified. However I agree in this video, they made phobic jokes, which is different.The reason why they are afraid is mainly because problems with GF/Wife might come up if fans keep insisting they are gay men. Fans need to know when to stop. They are actors playing gay roles. They are not actual gay men.

Except Ngern Anupart, in which his situation were very different (Waterboyy the series❤)... most of the said actors(specially the first one), were A-hole. This is why I only watch bl series without the A-hole actors and only support those who are lgbtqi actors. No fan-service, nor shorts.😶

Lol pls, it's obvious why White's popularity has gone down, it's cos he is just not handsome at all. He has a normal average looking face. By Asian standards, he might even be considered ugly, and BL industry is a very looks-focused industry. He is a terrific actor, and luckily he comes from a somewhat wealthy background. He can afford to stop acting.
