I know she's a supermodel, but her mom starves her. It's terrible parenting. And Bella is a responsible adult. She can work on her own diet without having to listen to what her mother says about nutrition.
The problem is the mom. She never told Bella at such a young age that she was beautiful the way she was. She allowed her to continue having insecurities

Starving your children and making them do things they don't want to do is disgusting. Nobody deserves a mom like that. Both Bella and Gigi are beautiful in their own ways and if somebody fails to recognize that then it's their own fault. I understand how Bella wants her mother's attention (we all do tbh) but that women is straight up toxic, I would have given up on her ages ago.

I just watched a compilation of Yolanda Hadid and how she treated her children, it was insane the things she would've say to them. I couldn't imagine having her as my mom and not growing up with some kind of eating disorder or body dysmorphia
Its gross when parents are like that towards their kids ... what the heck :/ No wonder so many adults have unresolved mental issues from childhood and can't cope as grown ups so they turn to into alcohol or drugs....Sad reality

My mom has been like that from my younger age til now always critizise my look and said things like i am ugly even in front of our extended family. I grew up feeling not worth it feeling scared to see my own face in the mirror, even today i do not have any mirror. But thanks God of the power of youtube, i found self-love affirmations that i can use to heal myself.

I would always love my mom for this. One of my mom's uncle's wife (that's a maternal great-uncle) once compared my sisters, saying the younger one's more good-looking than the older one. My mom immediately shunned her by saying (paraphrasing) "don't compare them, they both beautiful in natural god gifted standard and they would always be the most beautiful woman in the world to her".
it truly is so sad how her mother treats her. It’s not gigis fault either as she also struggles with how her mother makes her eat. I just think they need to separate themselves from their mother a bit and live their life according to themselves.

It truly does hit hard when you are constantly being compared to your elder sibling, someone who you are supposed to look up to...it hurts even more when even you yourself start feeling inferior to them and thinking that you aren't smart, cool, and beautiful like them...but it feels nice to know that gigi and bella still have each other's back in this large world...
I went through that experience! I only had my father's support but my mother would compare me to my elder sister and she would just attack me with toxic attitude for no reason. Even if I told her to stop and defend myself she would ignore me...😢💔
I just love and appreciate how much the sisters love eachother despite their mother’s behaviour mostly in this case siblings tend to hate eachother and grow distant when they see their parents treating the other one and favouring the other one than them it really brakes their bond and make them compete with each other but they the fact dat they still has such a great bond is wat I love🥰
Y'all need to stop blaming celebrities for "creating unattainable beauty standards" and work on your damn self esteem. Stop comparing yourselves to others, do what will make you happy if it means getting filler, losing weight, staying fit or not, and most importantly, stop caring what anyone else may think of you. Once you stop caring about that you reach absolute freedom, love yourselves more.

I think people believe that they have a connection to some celebrities because they are in a reality show so they feel entitled to know every detail about them.
Moms are supposed to be supportive but I didn't think that there was a mom like this who made her daughter get surgery to feel loved but I don't know how bella survived with out getting body dysmorphia

She’s had extensive work, a lot more than one nose job. Her face is totally different. It looks Ike she’s had eye work, cheek implants, buccal fat removal and multiple nose jobs as a start. It’s unfortunate as the work has made her look older. Yes, she’s more exotic looking and beautiful, but she looks 36, not 26. Yolanda is a classic stage mom. Not good!
It's so sad to know that there are parents who make their children feel bad with their unsolicited comments. Children place great emphasis on their parents' opinion of them. If the parents don't care about this and think they can say all the nonsense things that goes through their head, they're wrong, 'cause with some comments they can hurt or give rise to insecurities in their children.
