Vinod Mehra was a popular Bollywood actor who appeared in numerous Hindi films. He was born on February 13, 1945, in Amritsar, Punjab, India, and he passed away on October 30, 1990, at the age of 45.
Vinod Mehra started his acting career as a child artist in the late 1950s and early 1960s. He made his debut as a leading actor in the film "Ek Thi Reeta" in 1971. Mehra gained recognition for his performances in films like "Anuraag" (1972), "Amar Prem" (1972), and "Ghar" (1978). He was known for his romantic roles and his on-screen chemistry with various leading actresses of that era.
During his career, Vinod Mehra worked with many prominent directors and actors in the industry. He acted in films across different genres, including romance, drama, and action. Some of his notable movies include "Nagin" (1976), "Bemisal" (1982), "Mazdoor" (1983), and "Insaniyat Ke Dushman" (1987).
Vinod Mehra was married thrice. He first married Meena Broca, but the marriage ended in divorce. He later married actress Bindiya Goswami, and they had two children together. Then after few years they also got seprated and then people used to talk about his relationship with Rekha. It was assumed that they got married as well. After a rejection from a Mehra's family, Rekha withdrawn from the relationship and them Vinod Mehra got married to Kiran Mehra. Kiran Mehra accepted Vinod Mehra and Rekha sweet relationship in one of her interview. She mentioned that if she meets Rekha she will give her a tight hug. She always respected the great actress in her.
Unfortunately, Vinod Mehra's life was cut short due to a heart attack, and he passed away at a relatively young age. His contribution to the Hindi film industry and his memorable performances continue to be remembered by his fans and the film fraternity.
