Fatcat, financial greed destroyed modern gaming. I don't know if it will ever be fixed. Plus side, I am saving alot of wasted money NOT buying games.

Helldivers 2 had me quit in a month cause the nerfs. The nerfs just remind me what happened to Warframe

I have heard that the balancing has been a problem and that they are nerfing everything 🤣

@@M1zzyMaz happened over the course of years in Warframe, rather than let people enjoy the weapons they liked they kept nerfing them to make other things shine. They made the mechs weak af, the guns weak af, enemies can shoot through bushes but bushes block player shots. 100 years after the first game fighting the same enemies and they never make better technology and weapons. Super Earth is a joke. Cant even get into the narrative because how one dimensional it is. Many modern games suffer from just copying themes from other successful titles without understanding why those features were good. Not too many want a brutal difficult experience rather than a fun game to enjoy. Also is just lame that we are on the 9th generation of console and still being regulated to 4 player co op when we had that back in 4th generation. It is this kind of complacency and stagnation that is draining gamers interest in games. Developers and publishers just barely making the bare minimum for a game and calling it a sequel

Absolutely agree mate, ps5 and Xbox series x been out now for nearly 5 years and the games we are getting aren’t a massive leap from those we were getting back on older gen. Hopefully over the next few years Sony can bring out some top notch games, I don’t really have that much faith with xbox anymore, their recent track record doesn’t warrant it

I'm starting to think that there is no such thing as a good live service. It's just a cash grab. Even the ones used as examples of good ones. The reason they have them is for money first

I liked this video, i can see you are passionate about games and so am i , so now i will write my view on the situation : - modern gaming (i consider it after the invention of the battle pass so maybe 2018 onwards) is really not that bad. -I understand that it is at times anti consumer and more and more games release in an awful state and so much more problems that i am willing to enumerate in this particular comment BUT! I have been gaming since 1999, multiple hours/ day, and i can say without a doubt that we are living in the golden age of gaming right NOW. There are so many genre defining games released in the last 10 years that it is really incredible what modern technology has done. Never in my life did i think games would be so big and so complex how they are today. Yes there are some awful games but nobody forces you to play them. Now im just going to name a few games released in the last 10 years and i will not comment any further as real gamers will know what i am saying: the last of us, uncharted 4, god of war reboot, resident evil 2 and 4, sekiro, elden ring, bloodborne, baldurs gate 3, rdr2, dead space.. i can go on and on: the point im making : these are some of the absolute best games u can play , all released in a 10 year frame. Nothing more to say.
