Man, this game is so unassuming. I thought it would just be a quick flash game type thing, but it looks way more complex.

I like how even skurry says what literally everyone after an intense fight says: “Get the fuck outta here”

the way he cries is so impactful it hurts so bad. Especially the way he ducks his head during the entirety of the final boss fight. He knows what’s going to happen!! He knows what he has to do!!! (And low key how his black wear looks like funeral dressing :( )

The chat in Skurry streams are super nice, people were talking about hollow knight, and I had just finished steel soul 100%. I told the chat that and people started congratulating me, it made me feel accomplished, made my day! Definitely if you haven’t already drop into a stream sometime!

Looking at the thumbnail I didn't expect serious feels by the end. What a surprisingly good game.

Sad part when fighting the wife and fox thing in the end, Ato looks down for the whole fight and looks up in the end when he kills his wife. At least he got the baby back

I bought and played the game to the end before watching this to avoid spoilers. While the game sometimes felt like unpolished and difficulty levels between bosses are as different as night and day, I had a lot of fun. Thanks!

I literally bought Ato the day this was released. Edit: Finished the game, it's very good you should play it. Edit 2: I've started speedrunning it, I almost have world record. Edit 3: I have world record! Amazing how this started from this video lol.

Hey Skurry, I don't know if you'll see this, but just in case, thanks for posting this video. I haven't watched it yet, but based on the description, I decided to check out Ato myself. I just beat it a little bit ago, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. So thank you for the recommendation; I likely would have never heard of the game otherwise. (And now I can finally watch this video without getting spoiled)

I'm new to your channel, and the first thing I've noticed is that your voice is very relaxing, which contrasts nicely with the high octane action of the games you play

You must play Frog Hop after this. It's a really cool platformer made by the same people that made Ato. (Frog Hop is even better)

This game looks like a mix between the messenger and hollow knight and maybe some katana zero inspiration with some of the attacks

It's cool how you can see Skurry start to understand the combat style and how he eventually gets pretty good.

This is such a pretty game. The story and visuals are really well executed and though the world is probably not that expansive, the combat looks really meaty and satisfying.

This game reminds me a lot of the messenger but with cooler combat, the artsyle, the platforming, the level design, they're both hella cool (also the map is identical to the messenger in its design which is cool even if it takes inspiration or is coincidence).
