NONE OF THE CLIPS USED ARE MINE, THEY ALL BELONG TO TEAM STARKID. This was so freaking hard, I wish like ninety percent of these songs could be number one/two. Anyway this is all my opinion obvi, enjoy and let me know what you think!
i would like to make a public announcement that i allowed tumblr comments to influence me, and i absolutely did speedrun dirty. this is my official apology. thank you all.
It makes me sad now because I've seen way too many memes from Spies are Forever using that line (not gonna spoil for those who haven't seen but it's pretty sad lol)
joey is so amazing at singing in-character?? they all are but i always notice it so much with joey, even when it's just subtle changes to his normal voice to make it sound more like the character
And World's At Stake - only 5th? Seriously? That song deserves better it's so great. Maybe I'm a little biased, and 5th IS good, but. I just want them all to be first ok.
The fact that dysentary world is ranked higher than Speed Run, Gone to Oregon, the Grind, etc astonishes me woah there ,,, Gone to Oregon is especially a bop like boi
I think part of it may be the choosing names part. I have asked some people and they think it detracts from the song. I disagree, that song was what cemented my interest in watching the show.
@@therandompandaman4521 I like the names part but it feels like there's one too many sections in it I still would've put it higher on my list, but I can see how it drags
lauren lopez in trail to oregon is honestly one of her best roles very iconic also i feel like you gotta go would be such a nice song if it didnt have all the fart noises lol
Watching You Gotta Go edited together, I noticed that the keys are slightly different for each person - maybe it's just that they started different and it kinda ended up that way, or maybe that's intentional for vocal ranges? Jaime and Lauren's parts are DEFINITELY a little higher than Rachael's. Or maybe I'm making this up.
Yeah I guess it’s their brand. Star is like their emotional side with absolute legendary actors and Kid for their chaotic energy on stage. Perfectly balanced.
Aww, a teardrop in your eye? Uncle Wiley aughta make that a little better, with a Tickle-Me Wiggly from Uncle Wiley toys! We swear we won't kill your favorite bad boy father figure. Hhhahhah! Hhhhhahaha!
@@narniadici1976 its been two years since i first watched trail to oregon and i think i realized the whole "ox is a mutant" thing relatively recently... wish i could unlearn lol
Ok, but like can we give a shout out to Joey in this musical? He had hands Down THE TOUGHEST PART and he KILLED it. It is amazing that he only messed up once (Well that I know of I only know of that one video) also his voice was FANTASTIC in Wagon On Fire . Vocal growth for sure.
I hoped Wagon on fire would be first since it's my fave and heck yeah, looks like it's your fave too :'))) I lowkey hate you for that farting montage in the end but this video is still great
Flashy Flarrow omg i know i love it too but i asked a bunch of people to vote for top five and that one was consistently out and i couldn’t find a place for it... this was so hard lol i love all these songs so much
1. Pays to be an Animal ("Sing it Grandpa", Corey is absolutely awesome as a singer... it's a pity, he does not have much to sing in their shows, btw. song is incredible too, I didn't think I would ever like a country song) 2. When The World's At Stake (I'm counting it together with the reprise, both parts are both impressive - that full chest drag by Jeff, man, that's hard - and moving... and Joey is hilarious as always) 3. Naked In The Lake (Pure Lauren's energy, personally I love the sax solo at the end) 4. Gone to Oregon (See also: hilarious, probably the savagest lyrics from all songs there, also sounds really nice) 5. Wagon on Fire (I absolutely love Joey's performance here, I really like his gritty, dark singing in his lower register, gives me chills) 6. Speedrun (Jeff really knows how to sing classic metal, Rachel part is worse, but still enjoyable, Joey's choreo is simply perfect) 7. You Gotta Go (Really beautiful piece of music, but man, I wish it didn't have those fart jokes alongside, at least not to that extend) 8. Independence (Musically meh, but amazing delivery makes up for it) 9. Lost Without You (Too cliché for me, but Jaime's voice is a miracle) 10. Dysentery World (nice, but nothing so amazing) 11. The Grind (a bit boring, however it was nice to also hear Jeff's lower register, quite a range...) 12. Caulk The Wagon (we can all agree, this was a mistake) edit. I ate significant part of the title of one of the songs for some reason. Corrected.
As someone once said to me, TTO isn't nessicarily something you watch for the plot/story, but you watch it for the amazingly written characters. And to listen to Wagon On Fire
When my list is almost entirely the exact opposite to yours lol (except for a couple songs) 13. You Gotta Go 12. Caulk the Wagon 11. Naked in a Lake (but that sax solo is a bonus #1 tho) 10. Lost Without You 9. When the World's At Stake 8. Independence! 7. Gone to Oregon 6. Pays to Be an Animal 5. The Grind 4. When the World's at Stake (reprise) 3. Dysentery World 2. Speedrun 1. Wagon on Fire (I mean this is iconic and actually has been stuck in my head every day, and I'm not joking I've sung it every goddamn day for pretty much two months straight. I love Joey so much (Jeff is my #1 but Joey is basically my bias wrecker lol))
Maybe that's because Craphole is a seven year old and one of the mistakes young children make is write certain letters like 'd', 'e' and 'r' backwards, so Lauren facing the wrong way could have been intentional to reiterate Craphole's youth.
k so i know it’s not my usual stuff but the “me eating everything ron eats” vid is up on my channel and it was super fun to make and i’d love it if y’all would check it out!
k y’all i’m sorry i’ve been kind of awol, life is cray. so i have a few options i’m considering for my next video and i’d love to hear what you want. they are: i eat (or try to eat) all the food ron eats in avpm and avps; a compilation/ranking of best esther moments from solve it squad; or a ranking video of brian’s bet roles in solve it squad as well. after this video i’ll probably do another regular smartass ranking for hmb so let me know bc this is gonna be funnnn!!!
I can't believe you didn't include Jaime's delivery of the "no, put me down!" line in You Gotta Go, honestly in the running for funniest moment of the entire show. Kills me every time.
I agree with this, my only difference is I like Pays To Be An Animal a lot more (For some reason) and would put it like (in my opinion) 1. Pays to be an Animal 2. Wagon On Fire 3. Lost without you 4. Independence
the fact it still sounds amazing when sped up is a testament to how good independence is honestly- but also wagon on fire is just wagon on fire and nothing can really compete
so my new video (the twisted ranking one, as promised) is up! it’s kind of a long one, sorry, but the songs in that damn show are so freaking gorgeous that they’re impossible to cut. anyway, ya welcome you beautiful fuckers this is so fun
Sophie Lesher i literally... the number of times i’ve regretted putting them the way i did. originally i had trail to oregon and dysentery world and people kept telling me to switch them... i should have stuck to the original lol
@@whatlenalikes1674 lmao no worries, i'm a ballad girl so lost without you/world's at stake are my tops, but naked in a lake and trail to oregon are such bops!! and i actually rly like caulk your wagon, it just makes me laugh 😂
whenever I watch videos like this halfway through I will forget half of the songs exist and I’ll be like, “what could possibly be next” then remember my favorite songs. anyone else? just me? ok.
i cry EVERY SINGLE TIME i listen to world's at stake LITERALLY cry, as in, literal tears come out of my eyes. i don't think there is any other song that makes me feel that way.
You Gotta Go and Dysentery Word make me uncomfortable, so I personally would’ve put them lower But other than that I think this is a pretty good ranking
I’m watching this for the thousandth time but one part that always gets me (besides the whole song) of wagon on fire is a part you didn’t include when Jeff is singing a small part from the grind and rachael and Lauren are both like sawing to the beat with him Lauren looks terrified and like dead at the same time and that’s such a great expression because it looks like the dad has dragged them from hell and back and this trip wasn’t as fun as they thought and it just gets me every time
