I am 74 and when i hear this i want to get down .I loved 60s and 70s. Wonderful time . Everybody got along danced together had a great time .I do believe this music brought all of us together . We worked hard all week and looked forward to Friday and Saturday nights dancing . Goss, i miss that so much . 😊

When I was in Navy boot camp at Great Lakes Recruit Training center, back in June-July 1978, during firefighting training, one of the instructors played this while we we putting out a fire in an engineering space mockup. The air temp was over 100 F. that day and 90+% humidity. Still think of that whenever I hear this song.

I heard this for the very first time in a bowling alley during nighttime bowling as a teenager in 1997 and was immediately hooked. My friend and I just immediately started circling each other doing a funky stare-down! I now know why, that base-line is straight fire. DISCO INFERNO even became my nickname in university during frosh week when I wore a disco outfit during retro night :)

Mix harmony with the magic of Disco and the Trammps have definately caught the mood. Great instrumentally and an eternal evergreen. The Trammps sum it all up with: "Disco where the Happy People go". Amen to that.
