Furthermore the Black Templars chapter of space marines are like peak Imperium. No mercy for ANYTHING heretical. Meaning the moment brother Anzeil walked into that room, everyone was doomed. Not just...ahem... the "dog mutant psykers," but every being in that town as they were "harboring heretics."

There was never any doubt for people that know what the Black Templars are like. If it had been a Vlka Fenrika, White Scar, or maybe even an Ultramarine there would have been some tension on what might happen, but there wasn't, and that's pretty much the only weakness of the show.

Context, Big boy was a Black Templar, who ontop of being a religious psychotic killing machine, is obsessed with also killing Mutants, and Psykers. So soon as he said mutants and psychic abilities, knew that was a wrap.
