The Travelling Cat Chronicles- Spoiler Free review (ft Cat cameos) 

I hadn’t cried with a book since reading “A Little Life” by Anya Yanagihara. Being a first-time cat mom to a former stray cat, I cried pretty much from the beginning of the book. I can’t imagine what would have happened if my little Emma had been hit by a car before I met her! I just hope she feels as safe and happy with me as Nana felt with Satoru. Now I’m crying again…

Yes I read it and yes I cried. I began it and put it aside for some reason, forgot. Picked it up months later and quickly finished it.

This was the first book I willingly bought and read and it was definitely phenomenal starter. I CRIED FOR SO LONG

Call me a bit numb on the side of emotions, but I did not feel like the book was as sad people make it out to be. The setting was interesting, but it was just a compilation of 3-4 stories about his life, repetitive, with the ending being fairly obvious half-way the book when he got asked why he was leaving, and decided not to tell, even to his cat. It was an interesting book, don't get me wrong, and it was actually the first ever book I decided to add to my reading list, and it just happened by chance, that I chose to buy that book randomly one day, without knowing that. Regardless, I felt like the book could've been so much more, than a compilation of life stories with a morbid ending. Also a piece of advice; When talking about a book, don't say that it made you cry, since it kinda spoils the ending one way or another :D
