It’s possible but not guaranteed. Being rich enough to afford a super yacht doesn’t mean it’s necessarily a better idea to buy one than rent one especially if you don’t live near the water and plan to use it often or have it rented out by a chartering company. There’s a saying “if it flies, floats or fornicates, always rent it”

And travis was well beyond that point. the officer also issued an unnecessary search of travis' persons when he returned through a body search, but travis consented to that cause he's high as a kite. either way, the officer abused their authority and an unlawful way that an internal affairs investigation must be opened into them.

When you don’t leave your charger on time you make the shipmates jobs 100x harder and possibly even cost them some of the little sleep they do get. They have to clean and prepare that boat for the next charter. Which they can’t do if you’re there. If your there they can’t inventory things to know how much to need for the next charter which could be as long as a week long. Clearly Travis can’t afford those one. They’re 500,000 dollars for a week. Travis simply thinks himself higher than others and doesn’t care how his actions negatively affect the people busting their ass’ off 16-20 hours a day working on a charter yacht. Shame on him.
For someone who’s a billionaire you would expect him to know how to deal with cops in a noble and smart way, that being keeping your mouth shut and only working with his attorney, god knows he has the money to go to court. He rented the boat for 4pm to 8pm but HE didn’t get on the boat until 7pm so the owner extended his stay to midnight. So he got free rental from 8pm to midnight. And kept staying on the boat after midnight. Entitlement. So boat owner after already extending his time for free wanted him off at midnight which he didn’t do. Travis was in the wrong.
