Goodness Gracious, what a story!! I have read many of MR James ghost stories and other wrtings, but this is one I have missed. thank you for a entertaining afternoon ere in July, 2022. I have recently discovered you channel and series on the Cotswolds. What a wonderful series and I am delighted with every episode. I must compliment you on your voice, so rich and deep, and your command of the English language. Your speak at a pace that is just right for listening, and your pronunciation is so crisp and perfect that i don’t need closed captions. So many allegedly “english” voices on tv, or in movies or documentaries are almost impossibe to understand, because they speak incredibly fast and have such thick accents, it is as though they were speaking n a foreign language.or have a mouthfull of marbles.Also, I really enjoy your precious little dog companions and co-stars.. Please read more stories of MR James to us. From 🇺🇸, WA State 🌲🌲

Well read . For those who have never tried reading into a mic : it is extremely difficult . !! I tried it once after previously telling everyone how easy it would be .! My throat dried after about 30 secs ( nerves ) : I couldn't maintain regular tempo : I stumbled over any sentence with more than 5 words etc etc... After almost an hour with only half a page of acceptable material the Sound Engineer decided ( mercifully ! ) that his patience had run out ..... It's a real Art which very few can master ..
