Thank you so much, was such a pain but glad I was able to get it out in the end as it was a really fun race! I have definitely made it a lot smaller for the next one and could pop it in the bottom left instead of the top left like I usually do in future?
That’s true, I’ll pop it up smaller in the top left for the next video and if that still looks a bit off then I’ll drop it to the bottom for the next outdoor round!
@@BenPaines Either that or bring the black to 20% opacity :) then you can still see the track through the black/grey and the numbers won’t get lost in the background 👍🏻
Loving the vids mate Does the series allow chin mounts for the camera and have you tried it ? I find it gives much better footage but not all series allow it
I appreciate that a lot mate thank you! The series and most series allows mounts anywhere, the issues lies dependant on different tracks. Some don’t allow head cams at all; Thruxton for example… Even for this video I was advised against using a head cam at all but as I understand the risks, I’m more than happy to leave it on whilst I go round. If the track allows cameras on the helmet then a chin mount is also allowed as it’s all under the same legislation I believe? Personally, I like the view from the area I have the camera at the moment since it allows me to easily see my inputs whilst also seeing the action clearly. I find the steering column takes up a lot of the view on the chin mount but again that’s personal opinion, I would be open to picking up a mount and giving it a go in the future!
