@@luigipotter16 Tell that to ryunosuke naruhodo and gregory edgeworth. Although I will admit that phoenix himself has had quite a few moments where he basically almost died and ended up with only a cold or a sprained ankle.

@@luigipotter16 Funfact, the first prosecutors, according to a Greek myth, were the furries, creatures who would hunt you down and make you pay for your crimes and were an important part in forming the Athenian legal system, along with Apollo (who acted as defense attorney) and Athena (Who acted as the judge). So the moral of the story, the first lawyers, according to Greek myth, were demons and literally no one was shocked by this.

yeah, I’d love for a game where the clients are *kind of* guilty but there’s extenuating circumstances and the goal isn’t to get “Not Guilty” but instead to reduce the charges, and the Prosecutor doesn’t have a “Perfect Record” and doesn’t care about that, *but* believes that criminals should *always* be given the harshest possible sentences

@@runeanonymous9760 yeah I think law and order had a mobile game like that, where you can get lesser charges. Better than same thing happening in Chrono Trigger trial even with unanimous not guilty. I did like devil's attorney where you have a battle system with a premise of defending somebody obviously guilty.

Not quite. While yes, they both finished the construction of the peacekeeping robot, Dr. Light already started the work on Gamma, before Wily "joined" him.

Though my opinion of Archie has gone down majorly since their legal team just dropped the biggest ball on the Sonic Penders case I will always be sad this comic didn't get to finish it's last arc.

Dr. Wily and Dr. Light, from the Mega Man games. Dr. Wily is usually the bad guy and Dr. light is like your dad, you the player being Mega Man himself who is named Rock when he's not wearing his iconic blue armour. He and his sister Roll are robots. The basic plot of most of the games are that you fight robot masters who were created to make people's lives easier but are corrupted by Dr. Wily. As you defeat the robot masters, you get their powers which you can use against the other robot masters (each is weak to one of the others). Eventually, you reach Dr. Wily and defeat him too but he always escapes because sequels. Mega Man, like Ace Attorney, is owned by Capcom so Dr. Wily being represented by Phoenix Wright makes perfect sense. Ace Attorney's Taiho-kun got his English name The Blue Badger as a nod to Mega Man as well because Mega Man's nickname is the Blue Bomber. It's also nice to see Dr. Wily actually act like a good guy and want to make up for his mistakes, even if they weren't his fault this time. Dr. Light helping him out fits the canon of the games too since Dr. Wily and Dr. Light used to be friends and colleagues before Dr. Wily became evil. If you haven't played Mega Man yet and you like platformers, there is a collection of all the classic games on Switch as well as the Mega Man X series. They're on the other consoles and PC too.

Oh yeah, Mega Man 11 is also available. That's the most recent one.

@@Se7en2107 I don't have any consoles, but I really like the names of the characters. Very Ace Attorney adjacent. The siblings Rock and Roll, their good dad Light and their evil dad Wily. Nice.

This is canon to the comics and a modified telling of what happened in the games. To my memory Zero wasn't built with X in mind they were both just natural progressions of robotic scieneces at the time. X built by light and stored away till found and advanced the world, Zero built by Wily and stored away with a Virus till he infected Sigma and like most powerful robots went against Wily's design and got shipped with Light's son. This comic is also taking place during 20XX so its long long away from the X era.
