They want to be able to prove they were there or they want to capture a memory that doesn't lose details like memories do 🙂 I use to record festivals too, but I forgot to record when I was at Defqon.1 and I really regret it afterwards 😪 Self recorded videos can bring out more memories than an official aftermovie because they are more personal.

One thing you don’t get from this video, for like 30 minutes before The Tribute started, there was ambient music that gave you a small hint at what was to come. I couldn’t put my finger on it at first for the first few minutes, but the MOMENT I realized what the song was, I started tearing up. I started crying long before it started and once the music did start I absolutely lost it. Nothing else will ever come close to the happiness this music has brought my life.

Possibly. It was my 4th Defqon. I still love the pre-Corona Festivals, as they felt more "free" in some way. But definitely the best one since 2022 that i can say 100%

there's still plenty of great hardstyle out there being made, but you just can't just rely on the mainstages. magenta stage was kicking heat all wknd. That said, this has always been an event for a family of harder dance styles, not just the daily tastes of @Kaspar0v
