Just wanting to say thank you to all of the people who have taken the time to track me down here after the season premier of Shameless. I know these days there's a lot to choose from, especially in the music world. Attention spans just aren't what they used to be. So, the fact that you heard the music and dug around some to find out more means a lot to me. So thank you and thanks to Frank Gallagher! PS - There will be a lot of new music coming in the near future. A 21 song double album is set to release (no solid date set yet) most likely some time early next year. For those interested the "Fathers and Sons" EP is available now via iTunes, Amazon and all digital outlets and acts as an 8 song teaser for the full album - "Black Mountain / White Lake".
It's not on Netflix. You could catch it on showtime on demand but if you don't have that it's on putlocker, just remember to have adblock on. Great song btw.
I asked the lady for sun She gave me nothing but rain I asked the lady to run She cursed and told me to stay I asked the lady to die She ripped the reaper's face You are the fugitive kind I asked the lady to fly And so she crawled on the ground I asked the lady to cry So she burned my tears out I asked her why oh why She gave me a thousand more doubts You are the fugitive kind Oh Oh oh oh oh Oh Oh oh oh oh Oh Oh oh oh oh You are the fugitive kind Wild things leave skins behind them Clean skin, teeth, and white bones You pass these things one to another So the fugitive kind can Follow their kind And Oh oh oh Oh Oh oh oh You are the fugitive kind
Thanks for posting the lyrics Samuel Clemens. Kind of you to take the time to do so. However (I mean no offense), but there's a few words there at the end that I believe belong to another song, the likes of which are sung by quite a different artist than that of myself. :)
You could use a German proxy. Even the next season is available in Germany before it's available in the US. No idea why... Maybe a mistake, but it works.
Now that I think on this further was this song used in SOA because it really sounds familiar. So forgive my ignorance; I came to like SOA late in the series then went back and watched most of the eps I'd missed the first couple of years.
this song is genious! i loved it from the first time i heard it on shameless, i sent it to a lot of my friends, they all loved it. i would love to hear more from what this band has to say.
Thank you for the kind words Daniela; and for sharing it with your friends. Feel free to go here for more www.thetriggercode.net. Also check out iTunes, Spotify, etc. Glad you like what you heard.
rockerchick1965 Thanks for tracking down the music. About a week ago I was told that this placement fell through, so I thought it wasn't going to happen. Thanks to you, now I know it did. I really appreciate the support and for taking the time to find the music and post a comment. If you'd like you can check out a lot of other stuff at the website: www.thetriggercode.virb.com I am in the process of recording a 21 song double album entitled Black Mountain / White Lake. But will release an EP (Fathers and Sons is the title) prior to that along with an entire back catalog of released and unreleased music via a website called noisetrade.com. So, keep checking back via the TC website and my other social media if you are interested in staying posted. Thanks again for the kind words.
The Trigger Code That's how I discovered you too! Tracked you down after watching Lizzie. Love, love, love it! It goes through my head a lot and then I have to hear it! :)

WOW! I am a little behind on Shameless, just secured a free week of Showtime so I fired up season 7 episode 1 last night and all I can say is thank dog for Shazam on my phone....Now I am listening to this video on repeat at my desk, LOVE it!! I checked out your website and some of your other videos/clips, all good!
Totally agree, this would be fantastic in the Walking Dead. It's actually a really versatile song, it would probably fit in many scenarios. True Detective etc, but yeah the Walking Dead is as no-brainer.
+Earwig707 Thanks for tracking us down. Hope you like more of what you hear. Currently working on a new 21 song double album that will release next year. An EP will release prior to that through Noisetrade. The EP and my entire back catalogue will release for a limited time for free through Noisetrade once the EP is ready. You can check out the website to keep posted. thetriggercode.net Thanks again.
Tina Franklin thank you for taking the time to say so. Honored that you'd pause the show to track down the music. Ain't easy to put those Gallaghers on hold. ;)
+Zombi Afk Glad you like it. I've got a lot more music coming out this year. 8 song EP that will be free through Noisetrade in July. Then, a 21 song double album coming out near the last part of 2016

+Stark 353 Glad you like the music! I've got a lot more music coming out this year. 8 song EP that will be free through Noisetrade in July. Then, a 21 song double album coming out near the last part of 2016
I just wanted to give a heads up to anyone who may be interested. I don't play a ton of live shows with the band, but this Friday, St Paddys Day, March 17th, I'll be playing with a full band live from the Cobra Nashville. You will be able to stream the show live at the Trigger Code Facebook page starting around 9 PM central time (USA). This song is a part of the set list for those interested. Here's the link to the page facebook.com/thetriggercode/
Sorry I am just seeing this. There are a few albums. Check iTunes, Spotify, etc. Here are some iTunes links though. The last link is the most release (2016 - entitled Fathers and Sons). itun.es/us/5DKHw itun.es/us/G__qs itun.es/us/3UV1db
just got to season 7 on shameless, I can see I'm a little late lol. I seriously love finding good music in obscure places. will be checking out more of your stuff
playing Elite dangerous, was mining asteroids, got attacked by some pirate, this came on , made my escape dropping mines and boosting and drifting round asteroids, was perfection.
That is an old album. A lot has changed since then. There's 2 records available at iTunes also if you are looking for other Trigger Code stuff. Glad you were/are looking for new stuff. Thanks for checking in.
Your song is a perfect example of how much life a good sound track can bring to a B grade show. I love science fiction, but watch Killjoys without the sound track, it has nowhere near the impact it has with the music, glad you guys made it there and got some well earned exposure.
