our local meta has 1 slime silvie, 1 umbra tristan, and 2 merlins that constantly top our scene. I pivoted to wind allies (was trying Scepter Umbra Tristan and its really fun!) with a little bounce and they really struggled to deal with the high amount of burst that this aggressive deck can do. The meta is NOT solved, it's just shifting.
Hey everyone! If you're a fan of playing Water Cleric, I wanted to share some cards that have been incredibly effective for me against Silvie and Tristan. The ones that stand out are Frostbinder Apostle, Novice Healer, and Allied Warpriestess. Frostbinder Apostle is particularly fun because her -4 ability can take out large slimes while dodging Slime Shield, as it doesn’t deal any damage for Slime Shield to prevent. Players tend to get frustrated when you can heal significant amounts of damage while trading allies or putting pressure on them with 2/2 or 2/3 cleric ladies. These cards have been game-changers for me, and I highly recommend giving them a try if you're looking to experiment with your deck.
As a new player trying to get into the game, it's very reassuring to hear that about 6 out of 7 classes are competitively viable since I mostly prefer to play non-meta stuff and experiment on my own.
Ouch! Yep, it can be tough out there for us Silvie fans! I'm still experimenting with ways to battle aggro! It doesn't help against FiZa, but I'm playing the Fire version right now with Reprograms main. Against the Wind Ally decks, you can pretty freely increasing danger early on as the cards are *way* better for you than them (and they even throw off Gildas math). They let you keep progressing while holding up interaction like Reprogram and let you hit Level 3 with 6-7 cards in hand easily, which is plenty to get stabilized with. Against FiZa right now I just...try to win the dice roll!
Not sure who's end it's coming from on this one, but someone was fidgeting throughout the video with something that was VERY noticeable and distracting
Yes, we caught that as well and it has been dealt with! Taylor set up a new computer and his audio was a bit wacky. I apologize and thanks for your patience with it!
